Dean laid a wet washcloth on Cas's forehead. He had eaten and then, much to both of their surprise, kept the food down. Dean had then told Cas to lay and rest on the couch while he washed his bedding, which smelled of alcohol and vomit.

Dean sat on the couch next to Cas's legs. "How are you feeling?"

"Better." Cas croaked. "Thank you Dean."

"No problem Cas." Dean said.

Silence followed, and they both knew that they were uncomfortable with their current situation.

"Um-Cas?" Dean spoke up.

"Yes, Dean?"

"I have something to tell you." Dean said. You can do this. Dean told himself. You like him and he probably likes you back. You might as well get it out. Cas was looking at Dean warily, like he was unsure whether he was going to say something good or bad. Dean swallowed and scooted slightly closer to Cas.

"I think I love you. Or-well-I think I'm falling in love with you." Dean said.

Cas's eyes went wide in obvious shock, and right when Dean thought he was going to get sick again his eyes softened and he smiled.

"You fucking bastard." Cas spits. He sat up, letting the washcloth fall onto the couch beside him. He leaned in close to Dean, so that their eyes were locked and so that Dean could feel Cas's breath on his face.

"W-what?" Dean said, mouth agape. He was taken aback by Cas's reaction. He was smiling yet his words said an entirely other story.

"I said-" Cas cleared his throat "-you fucking bastard."

"I-is that a good thing?"

Cas tilted his head to the side and grabbed Dean's chin in his hand. "What do you think?" He asked, his tone no longer stern, but soft.

Before Dean could react, Cas had his lips against Dean's, his hand still lightly holding onto his chin. It took Dean a second, but he started kissing back, putting his arm behind Cas's back and into his hair.

Dean felt Cas's hand find its way underneath his shirt, his warm hand sending chills through his body.

Cas suddenly pulled away, his eyes wide with worry. "Oh my god! Oh my god." He said. "Oh my god. I-I just kissed my boss."

Cas got up from the couch. "I can't believe I just kissed you." He said, running his hands through his hair. "No no no. This isn't good. This isn't good at all."

Dean reached out for Cas's arm but he started pacing before Dean could reach him. Cas kept on repeating the same thing over and over again. How he kissed his boss, how he couldn't believe he had kissed his boss. And a lot of 'oh my gods' in between.

Once Cas sat down - on the other side of the room - Dean stood up. "I should probably go-"

Cas nodded. "Um-yeah." He said, looking crazed, and not really paying attention to the man standing in front of him. "I think that would be wise."

Dean did a half wave and slid out the door.

A/N: THEY KISSED! Finally. Is it normal that I'm fangirling over my own fanfic?

And also, I'm at a little over 900 reads on this book! How freaking crazy is that! Wow! Should I do something special once I get to 1k? If you think I should, comment what you'd like me to do!
