Cas woke up, alarm clock blazing. He sat up in his bed and wiped his eyes, turning the alarm clock off.
He groaned and slid on his winged slippers and shuffled to the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and noticed some stubble growing on his face.
He examined himself closely in the mirror and sighed. Sometimes he hated being human. Shaving got tiresome. He got out the shaving cream and rubbed it on his face.
He finished shaving and got dressed. He wore a striped tie this time, but the same ensemble as yesterday. He combed his hair and smiled at himself in the mirror.
He was going to see Dean again. But before work. It'd be just them two in The Dark Roast drinking coffee and talking.
By the time he was out of his condo he was smiling like an idiot.

Dean sat at a table for two, waiting on Cas. He drummed his fingers impatiently on the side of his coffee cup.
He glanced at his watch. He had to be at work soon. He took a sip of his coffee and decided it wasn't worth missing his meeting for.
But then the bell on the cafe door chimed. Dean looked up to see Cas standing there, surveying the room, looking for him.
Dean raised his hand and smiled. Cas made his way through the cafe to the corner of the cafe, where Dean was sitting.
"Sorry I'm late." He said and sat down across from him.
"It's fine. We didn't set a time."
Cas glanced at Dean's coffee. "You ordered without me."
"It's just a cup of coffee."
"Yeah, but the entire reason we're doing this is because I spilt your coffee yesterday. I wanted to repay you."
"I'm your boss, Cas. It's not like I'm low on money."
A woman walked over to the table. She had blonde hair tied in a tight ponytail and smiled at Dean as if she knew him personally.
"Who's your friend here, Dean?" She said.
"His name is Cas." Dean replied, taking another sip of his coffee.
"I'm Jo. It's nice to meet you, Cas. What would you like?"
"Coffee with some milk, please." Cas said. "And a blueberry muffin would be nice. Thanks."
Jo scribbled on her notepad. "Anything else? Dean, how about you? You've only had coffee so far."
"I'll have a bagel please. Low-fat cream cheese please."
"Okay." She said. "I'll get that for you." She smiled and walked away.
"You two seem close." Cas said.
Dean shrugged. "We dated for a while a few years back. No biggie. She's more like a sister to me, really."
"I thought you were gay."
"I was still figuring myself out back then. She was my last female companion aside from a one night stand or threesome."
Cas raised his eyebrows. "You have threesomes?"
"Not anymore." Dean sipped his coffee and spoke into his cup. "Like I said-" he sat his cup down "-I was figuring myself out."
Cas nodded and laughed to himself. Dean joined in, and then they started talking about how they ended up in their current positions.
All the while, they both couldn't stop smiling.
