Dean got a call from Lisa later in the day. He decided not to answer it. He spent the day going over the company's bills and taxes, organizing the papers for their accountant, Mr Tran.
He decided he was going to call his brother Sam, to see what he was doing. He was probably at church, being the goody-too-shoe religious freak he was, but he had to talk to him.
"Hey." Sam answered the phone.
"Hey Sammy." Dean said, fiddling with a button on his shirt.
"It's Sam." Sam said. "Sammy is a chubby 12 year old."
"Okay, well I need to talk to you about something." Dean said, nervous. What if he doesn't understand? He was fine with me being gay but this... this is different.
Sam could sense the uneasiness and seriousness of Dean's tone. He said something to a murmuring voice on the other end, and a few seconds later he was back. "Sorry. I'm at church." He said. "So what's going on?"
"I kissed Cas."
"What?"
"Or well, technically he kissed me, but I kissed back."
There was silence on the other line and Dean was scared that Sam was mad at him. He was probably contemplating on whether to scream or talk sense into him.
"How old is he?"
"What?" Dean was confused by the question.
"He's your intern right? Well how old is he?" Sam's voice was firm and even. "Is he legal?"
"Sam, I may be a moron, but I'm not stupid. Of course he's legal."
Dean heard a sigh of what sounded like relief on the other line. "Well what's the problem then?"
"He's my intern. I'm his boss. Him or me, or both of us could get fired if anybody found out."
"Well it was just one kiss right?"
"Well yeah, but-"
"Just make sure you don't kiss him again." Sam said. "As simple as that."
"You haven't seen or met the dude, Sam." Dean said, exasperated. "He looks like a fucking angel."
Sam laughed on the other line, then Dean heard voices in the background. "Hey, Dean. I'm going to have to go. And don't worry about it. If you really love him, and if he really loves you, then I'm sure you will figure something out."
And then he hung up, leaving Dean on his couch, unsure what to do. He tapped his finger nervously on his knee and then decided to call Cas. He had to speak to him.

Cas hears his phone ringing and notices that it's Dean calling. He decides to answer it, ignoring all of his brain's protests.
"Hey Cas."
"Hello Dean." Cas responds, which is then followed by an awkward silence.
Right when Cas is about to break the ice, Dean says, "Meet me for coffee at The Dark Roast?"
Cas thinks of turning him down, but what good would it do? It'd just make things even more awkward than it already was. So he agreed and then got dressed. He put on his signature trench coat over a white button down shirt and black slacks. He didn't want it to look like he was going to work so he didn't put on the tie, and unbuttoned the top two buttons on the shirt. He messed up his hair a bit and then headed out the door.
