Heyyo guys! Sorry I haven't written in a while. I had my whole family over at my house so it was literally a mad house! Well anyways, here is your chapter (: Enjoy!

(Hermione's P.O.V.)

Tap, tap, tap!

A brown owl tapped at the balcony glass doors.

I rolled over groaning, shielding my eyes from the bright sunlight pouring in the room. A thick comforter was wrapped tight around me, insulating my body heat. I looked at the alarm clock occupying my night stand. 9:43.

"Crap," I muttered. Work started at 10 and I was never late. Literally. I jumped reluctantly from my bed and hopped into the shower, completely forgetting about the owl. Jumping out of the shower five minutes later, did I realize that I hadn't packed any clothes. What the bloody hell am I supposed to where?!

As if on cue, Pokey came into my room. "Master Draco wished me to give you these." She stuck out her hands to reveal a striped low cut blouse, and some skinny jeans. Wondering why Draco knew that I needed some clothes, I hurriedly grabbed them and pulled them on. I barely had time to straighten my hair before I had to practically run down the stairs and apparate to the Ministry of Magic.

At 9:57, I trudged into my office in the Magical Law Enforcement department and plopped down in my chair. A heavy sigh barely escaped my lips before my assistant, Cho Chang, came in the room. She had a solemn look on her face when she looked straight into my eyes.

"Hey Hermione, how are you feeling?"

"Absolutely spectacular. Why the long face?"

She looked taken aback. "You don't have to hide it honey."

My brow crinkled in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

She held up the Daily Prophet and grief spread throughout me. Ron was locked in a passionate kiss with Astoria Malfoy, on the front page. I had completely forgotten about our break up, spending so much time at the Malfoy's had kept me occupied. I closed my eyes to shield out the horrific snogging.

Ok, it's ok Hermione. You don't love him anymore, remember? Just let him go! He's just doing that to get attention. How must Draco be feeling about this?

"Hermione?" Cho said uncertainly.

I snapped myself back into reality. "Yes Cho?"

"Are you sure you are ok? You can take the day off, no one has really seen you yet..."

I shook my head. "No, thanks though. If I keep my concentration up, I will forget about him so, what do I have to do today?"

After eight hours of long working hours, my shift was finally over. I grabbed my purse and proceeded out the doors of the Ministry, stopped by a few people to tell my sorry for my "loss". I went to a small muggle coffee shop a few blocks down and settled myself down for a latte. I laid back against the booth, relaxing my neck.

Tap, tap, tap!

I turned to my left to see the same owl from this morning.

Crap! I forgot all about him!

It attracted little curious watchers as I walked outside to reach for the note tied to it's small brown leg.

Dear Hermione,

I am so sorry about what happened. Believe me I didn't want to hurt you like that. Please forgive me? I still want to be good friends like we have been since our first year at Hogwarts. I miss you.
