Draco's POV
The whole world stopped, as if God had put his hand on the world to stop it from rotating. Hermione and... my, our baby stood in front me, while the rest of the world darkened around me. Baby was not a foreign word in my mouth, considering that I have a son of my own. But the timing and who this baby was being carried by was a completely different story. I struggled to breathe as I fell back onto the bed. Hermione stared at me wide eyed, just waiting for a reaction from me. I truly was happy, happier than I have been in a very long time but, this put her in a very dangerous situation. I decided to play it cool, for her sake.
I looked up at her eyes, her pure chocolate brown eyes, the same loving ones I had fell hard for and smiled. "Hermione that's... That's amazing!" She smiled in relief, looking a thousand times better. I got up from the tiny bed and kissed her lightly. She was shaking under my touch, clearly dreading those three little words. She smiled under our kiss and let go. She shivered in enjoyment, bouncing up and down in place. I laughed at her enthusiasm and picked her up by the waist. Her giggles were of pure happiness to me, soothing my now aching heart. I twirled around with her in my arms and set her down. A little lock of her chestnut hair fell in front of her beautiful complexion and I swept it slowly behind her ear. Her quick breath poured over my neck, slowing to a natural pace.
"So, what did you want to tell me?" Her innocent eyes peered up at mine, filled with curiosity.
I looked quickly from her left eye to her right, back and forth. "Hermione... It's just.."
She lifted an eyebrow. "Remember Draco, no secrets, no lies."
I paced back and forth in front her, almost ready to explode. A raging storm swelled within my chest. How could they do this to me? I truly thought they would give up but with purebloods, it never ever ends even in the slightest circumstances. The atmosphere was immediately portrayed to grievance, giving both of us that utter uneasiness. My emotions finally couldn't take it anymore. I burst out into tears and fell onto the bed, covering my face with my hands. "They... They are back Mione. The Death Eaters. And they are after me. After you." It all suddenly clicked.
They wanted me as a recruit whether I liked it or not, and they weren't going to cease until they have me. They were going to get me in my weak spot, lose something or in this instance someone irreplaceable. They were going to do something to my Mione, to my baby.
Over the course of the next few minutes and through my sobs I explained everything. Once I finished, I weeped even harder than before. Mione just sat there, too stunned to say anything. She put her hand to her stomach and kept it there, as if almost protecting it. "I'm sorry Mione," escaped my lips.
"Draco, none of this is your fault! If you truly loved me, you wouldn't have turned your back on me and gone with them. Look at you now! You got up the courage to even tell me these things! That's the amazing man you are, don't let them see another side of you." I felt myself lean into her, and give her a much needed hug. Her arms threw around my neck and my arms engulfed her middle. The ends of her soft brunette hair stroked my cheek and I breathed in her violet blossom scent. "I love you Mione," I said simply, never knowing if she would truly feel the feeling I felt in that little sentence. "I love you too," she said back.

Hermione POV
We settled down in our room, unpacking things and such. The little room tested my nerves so I decided to get some air, Draco following me. Ever since he told me about the Death Eaters and how they were probably planning something against me, Draco vowed that he wouldn't ever leave me out his sight. I didn't mind but with someone following me constantly, always breathing down my neck did seem to have an effect on me.
