Hey guys (^-^) Ok so this chapter is a little different than the others and you will see why. Please don't hate me for this, I just thought this would be good for the story! This is my second time writing this chapter because the first copy somehow got deleted when I uploaded it sooo... Yeah! It is a little crappy but I rewrote it so some parts are better (: Hope you like it thanks!! (:
(Ron's POV)
"Three times," I squeaked, "Three times you have left me for that Malfoy."
We were all back at my apartment. I was sitting in my arm chair across from the couch were Hermione and that wretched Malfoy were seated. In the park they had accumulated many watchers so we apparated here. Malfoy was reluctant but Hermione persuaded him, surprisingly enough.
"Why the bloody hell do you care?!" she practically screamed at me.
"Why did you leave me the first two times?!" I shot back. I sighed. "Hermione, I care about you. I don't want you to end up with the wrong people, people we don't trust." I sent a glare at Malfoy who all the while was staring at the wall with a hard expression.
"People we can't trust? I trust him more than you! He has been more open and honest with me than you ever have, you bloody traitor!" Silence. That cold silence followed. Even Hermione got uncomfrotable but I stood my ground.
"For six years, I have loved you and cared for you," I said slowly, drawing out every word to get my point across. "For six years! We loved each other! Everything was perfect! What happened to that?"
"You broke up with me... that's what happened..." She whispered with meance laced in her voice.
"I didn't know what I was thinking... It's just these past few day I have felt alone, completely lost without you..."
I flung myself onto the couch with my head in my hands.
'Oh she is just as frusterating as when we were in school! Always glaoting in our mistakes and making us feel guilty. Man, she is complicated!'
I pressed my hands into my eyes until I could see little bursts of stars in my dark vision. A small warm hand lightly touched my back and began to rub it, just the way I liked it.
"I'm sorry," she stated.
'Oh I can't stay mad at her. She is my fiance after all... or was. I have missed her so much, I need to get her back.' My thoughts lingered in my head a bit, until someone broke the silence.
"Weasley, you're not being very sensible, I say let her choose." I could feel the cold snarl from across the roomm. The small hand stopped it's course. Hermione's face filled with fear, happiness and yet confusion.
"Y-you want m-me? Me to choose?"
Malfoy stood up and shortened the distance in between them. Blocking his way only made his expression harder. "Yes Mione, we want you to choose who you want to be with. It doesn't necessarily have to be now but we do want an answer."
Hermione got very uncomfortable, twirling her fingers through her hair, chewing on her lips... her soft sweet lips... the same ones I have been dreaming about ever since six years ago. She moved her small fragile body from foot to foot, so delicately... Bloody hell I have it bad for this woman! What was I thinking when I broke up with her? Wait, what was I thinking?
The few minutes that followed were filled with more silence and tension, causing Draco to get anxious. He hastily checked his watch and replaced it back in his pocket. Then the second most surprising thing happened, Draco leaned over to Hermione and whispered something in her ear that made her face fall. With that, he gave her a quick hug, a scowl to me, and left without another word. Her somber eyes followed him out the door until he apparated leaving her to let her eyes wander to the ground in... disappointment?
