Cally~

Thank God! My phone! I kissed it but then remembered that Harry had put it in his pants earlier today. I wiped my lips off with my blanket and continued playing on it. A notification popped up indicating someone had texted me.

That's strange.. nobody EVER texts me.

To Bitch

Wow, ur such a loser! im the only person in ur contacts? awww does cally wally hve a crush on harry?

From Harry

How did he put his number in my contacts? I have a lock on it so how did he get into it? I ignored my questions and pulled up Candy Crushers.

Somebody walked in while I was playing on my phone. I looked up with a smile and noticed it was my parents. My smile fell from my face and they sat down in the chairs next to me, my mother in the seat closest to me and my father in the farthest one.

"Your father has something to say to you, Cal." my mother spoke up. Surprisingly she sounded sober, but Dad looked piss drunk.

"Umm.. Oh yeah. Fuck you! Haha!" Why does he always do this to me? What were they doing here? Why is my mother not drunk?

"George! I told you that if you did this then.... I-I'll call CPS on you!" She thought that I couldn't hear her but I could perfectly. So my Mom's changed?

Hopefully she has because I've always missed the smile she used to always have on her face. And how her and my dad would always kiss and be happy. But soon that happiness was overcome with darkness. An endless, dark shadow of hopelessness.

My thoughts were interrupted by men in security suits escorting my drunken father out of my room. I pulled my knees up to my chest and cried. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up.

That smile, it's there again.

She pulled me in to a hug and cried with me. I'm so happy that I don't have to lose both of my parents and go to a foster home or something.

"Oh honey, I-I miss you. I've always been here, Cal. The alcohol just over took my system and hid me in a shadow." By now she was staring in to my eyes. Beautiful blue eyes, with a hint of truth in them.

"Mommy. I've always known, always." We embraced once again and talked all night long. She said that we were moving in to a different neighborhood and it would be a fresh start. I would still have to go to the same school, which is bullshit.

I fell asleep in my mother's arms. The next day I can leave so me and Mom are going to start packing while my father's in jail.

He's going in for child abuse and abuse towards my mother. I had no idea that my mother had been beaten by him, too. Maybe he did it while they were at the bar or while I was asleep.

In the morning, Mom woke me up and I got changed in to my normal clothes. As soon as I got finished we bolted out of that hospital faster than a cheetah going after its prey!

We went back to the house to pack some stuff up and leave. I went up to my room while my mom went to hers to put our clothes and belongings in boxes.

After I packed all my clothes, the little I had, I went to see if Mom needed any help. I heard her crying and peeked my head in the room. She couldn't see me, due to my awesome ninja skills, while she threw a picture across the room and into the hallway. I caught a glimpse of it before it fell of the ledge and onto the floor downstairs.

It was a picture I took of my mother and father a few years back. They were kissing in it and they looked so happy. I heard glass shatter and I revealed myself from the shadows. Mom looked up and wiped away her tears.

"W-Why don't we g-go and see the n-ew house, yeah?" I nodded.

We loaded the boxes into Mom's Prius and we head off. I was following close behind in my car, leaving behind all the memories I had of my father and my old mother. The future ahead of me will be much better than the past and everything will be happy.

But my happiness was soon overtaken with fear when our new neighborhood came into view. It was the same one Harry lived in....
