*Katie's POV*

My palms started to sweat as I tore my eyes away from him. His eyes didn't leave me the whole time and the atmosphere in the room was extremely awkward.

"Hey, where did you go man?" Michael asked breaking the silence.

"I knew it was you" He replied as I looked towards the door to see he still had his eyes on me.

"Oh Jake's here" Maddie spoke up, lying just to get me out of this situation, as she stood up and I did as well, "Um, it was nice meeting you guys and thank you" She smiled.

"Uh yeah, I'll see you.." I trailed off as I hugged Ashton first, then Michael, then Luke.

We walked towards the door and I heard Maddie mutter an 'excuse me' to Calum as he moved out the way still looking at me.

I walked past him and out the door as we walked down the corridor.

"Wait!" A voice shouted from behind us as I continued to walk quicker. I felt my arm being grabbed as I turned round to see Calum.

I yanked my arm away and glared at him as he too glared at me, "You left your phone" He simply said and held it out as I grabbed it from him.

"Thanks" I said as I continued to follow Maddie away from him, out to the car park and into the car

"But did you see his face when he saw me?" I asked as Maddie went to answer but I cut her off, "As if this is my fault. He's the one who called my parents, none of this would have ever happened if it wasn't for him" I yelled before flopping down onto the couch.

"Hey K, chill, it's okay-"

"You know I was perfectly fine talking to the other boys and he just had to come in and ruin it, I am so done with this" I sighed and walked into my room.

I'm guessing Maddie got the message that I wanted to be alone as she left me.

"No, no that's great, thank you" I replied talking on the phone as I hung up and smiled.

"Today is a good day?" Maddie asked as she brushed her hair.

"I just got a job, and an apartment, it was like a package thing"

"Oo that's cool, where?"

"In a restaurant in the mall, the apartment is one of the one's next door to it"

"Woah, I heard that they were fancy" Maddie said.

"Anyway, I'll be moving out tomorrow, so you don't have to worry about me being here and invading your private time with Jake"

"Aw, you know you didn't have to, I'll miss you" She pouted.

"Don't worry we'll see each other every day anyway" I said laughing as I went on my phone.

"Oh wait let me give you my number" She said as I opened my contacts and furrowed my eyebrows seeing I apparently had Luke's number.

After adding Maddie's I texted Luke.

Katie: hey how do I have your number

Luke: I may have put it in when you left

Luke: get twitter

Katie: no why

Luke: just get it please I wanna make a groupchat

Katie: make one on texts.

Luke: no I'm not wasting my money on this

Katie: fine
