*Katie's POV*

"Look I'm sorry I'm late, it won't happen again, I promise" I nodded as Robert folded his arms across his chest and looked at me.

"Katie, it's only your second day and you're already over 3 hours late" He sighed.

"No, look yesterday-"

"Don't fire her!" I turned to the door to see the guys running in as Michael spoke first.

"Yeah she was helping me study" Luke said then furrowed his eyebrows.

"She was in this awesome fight and-"

I turned round and glared at the guys as I mimed to them to get out.

"Look, Katie, I want you to take this job serious and not treat it as some place you can bring your boyfriends to-"

"No they're not my-"

"Look it's up to you what you do with your life, the only thing I control is what you do for this job and I'm saying that I'll give you another chance but if you're ever, even just a second late then don't think I won't hesitate to fire you"

"Okay, I'm sorry and I promise it won't happen again" I bit my lip and looked down at my shoes.

"Now get to work" He said as I nodded quickly and ran into the kitchen to put on my apron.

I came back out to see the guys had disappeared as I silently thanked them, I didn't want to be further embarrassed.

Robert walked by and handed me my notebook as I went to the nearest table and took their order, doing the same at some more.

"Hello Katie, long time no see" I looked up from checking my apron to see Calum sitting with a smug look on his face as he sat across from none other than blondie.

"Calum" I nodded, to be civil, "What can I get you guys" I glanced at Amber slightly but looked at my notebook.

"Um why is there pineapple on that pizza?" She spoke up and looked at me.

"I don't know, it's Hawaiian" I shrugged as I tried to hold back my anger.

"But I don't want pineapple on my pizza, so can I like get the Hawaiian without the pineapple?" She asked looking at me while she twirled her hair around her finger.

"Yeah sure so that's just a ham pizza then" I nodded to my self as I wrote it down.

"No! I want the Hawaiian pizza without the pineapple" She whined.

"It's the exact same as a ham pizza then" I replied, rolling my eyes at how pathetic this conversation was

"I want a Hawaiian one" She whined.

"Right, you know what, fine, you get a 'Hawaiian' one" I nodded as I remembered the famous rule of the 'Customers know best'.

"Without the pineapple!" She added as I nodded and sighed and looked at Calum who had an amused face on him.

"What about yourself?" I forced a smile as he smirked, knowing he had managed to get under my skin.

"Just a hamburger" He nodded as I wrote it down.

"Coming right up" I smiled as I walked away, the smile instantly dropping from my face.

I went to walk into the kitchen to see basically all the staff running around, probably because it was around dinner time, picking up plates or cooking as I decided to just step out and wait for my order to be ready.
