Chapter 17

I sighed and unlocked the door to Andy's and my flat. I've been living with Andy for a month now. I kicked my shoes off and fell onto the couch, a groan erupting from my mouth.

I had gone to a shrink without letting Andy know. I was afraid he'd get worried. But I had to see if I was imagining or not. And I still didn't fucking know if I was crazy.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and tried turning it on, only to find the battery was flat. I groaned and pulled myself off the couch and slumped into the kitchen to find my charger.

"Hey Sarah!" I heard CC say as I entered.

"Jesus Christ!" I exclaimed. "What the fuck Christian?!"

He was silent for a moment. "Um... You didn't know I was here?"

"I was out doing errands." Lie. "When'd you get here?"

"About half an hour ago," CC said as I reached for the phone charger and plugged it in.

"Where's Andy?" I asked.

"Bedroom I think..."

"Oh. Don't eat my food," I warned, glaring at him.

CC didn't move. "Uh..."

"You've eaten some already haven't you?" I asked. He was silent. I sighed and went to find Andy.

I knocked on the bedroom door. "Andy?" I called. I heard a mumble and opened the door. Andy was sitting on the bed, reading through my song book.

"Hey baby," I smiled, sitting down next to him.

"Hi," he replied, still flipping through my songs.

"Enjoying yourself?" I giggled. He nodded and flipped to the next page. It was the song I wrote the night I moved in. I snatched it away.

"Babe~" Andy pouted. "Why can't I read?"

"Secret, babe."

"Can I at least have the title?"

"Runaway," I said, putting the book back on top of the bedside table. "And that's all you get."

"Fine," Andy smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer and kisses my cheek.

"Bunny!" I heard CC yell. "Your phone's ringing!"

"Shit," I whisper and run to the kitchen. I grab my phone and answer.

"Hello?"

"Sarah? It's Ally."

"Hi Ally..."

"Hi... Uh..."

"What's up?"

"Um... What's your address now?"

"Why?"

"I um... I just wanna see how you're doing..."

"Oh... Ok." I gave her the address and noticed CC and Andy staring at me. I brushed them away.

"So uh... I'll see you soon..."

"Ok. Love you Ally."

"Love you too..."

I hung up and turned back to Andy and CC. They were both waiting to be filled in with what was going on.

"Alyssa's coming over," I said calmly. They were both silent. I waited for their responses.

"Ok," Andy smiled as he hugged me again. Wow, that went better than I thought.

"Alyssa's your sister right?" CC asked. I nodded. "Oh," he said, going back to making food.

"Mm..." I mumbled and rested my head on Andy's chest. He kissed my forehead and hugged me tighter.

"Missed you today," he whispered.

"Missed you more," I whispered back.

"I love you," he smiled.

I giggled. "I love you more."
