It was only fifteen minutes or so later that Cheryl was parking her car in the parking garage – strangely enough next to Liam's familiar car as that was the only available spot. She rummaged through her bag and grabbed her phone charger, before putting her bag into the back in the floor. She then grabbed her phone as well before finally getting out and heading into the lobby of the building.
And there he was dressed casually in a pair of grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt as well as black and white Converse – Liam.
"Hey." She greeted, making him look up. He smiled, holding his arm out and giving her a hug that actually took her by surprise.
"A hug for keeping me company this afternoon." He chuckled softly as they pulled apart. She giggled as they began walking towards the elevators together.
"Well, think of that as me giving you a hug back for giving me somewhere to hide out this afternoon." She replied, an adorable twinkle in her eyes that actually made Liam want to melt...
Once the elevator doors pinged open, the two walked down the hallways a bit before coming to a white wooden door with 573 on the golden plate. Liam put his key in the lock and gave it a turn before pushing the door open, Cheryl gasping in awe once he'd stepped aside and let her into the trendy looking apartment...
The apartment was a black and white themed; the floor being a shiny wood, with a brown leather L-shaped sofa over against the wall as with a shiny glass table in front of it resting on top of a black and white printed rug. Over against the far wall across from the sofa – near the door – was a huge flat screen mounted securely onto the wall with black shelves securely screwed into the wall beneath it with the box for satellite TV and an X-Box game system as well. On the ground beneath where the TV was rested another sturdy glass table with pictures of family and friends on it as well, them making Cheryl smile as she could see how much Liam clearly adored all the people in his life.
The kitchen area was just across the room a bit from the living room; the floor being black and white marble, the cabinets and counters being white wooden with black and white marble tops on the counters. The refrigerator was a huge, American style stainless steel double door type, and the stove and microwave were both stainless steel as well. In the middle of the kitchen stood a white wooden island counter with a marble top, along with barstools dotted around on all sides as well. Even the wall that separated the kitchen from the little hallway that led to the bathroom and Liam's bedroom was black slate, giving the apartment more of the trendy image than it already had.
However, what really caught Cheryl's attention was the huge glass window that basically provided a view of the whole city, something that Cheryl could obviously identify with as she had a window just like this in her office. One of the areas that she thought was actually a window was also a sliding glass door, which led to the sturdy tiled balcony that had a white stone barrier around it – keeping with the cool image of the apartment.
"Wow Liam, this looks amazing!" she giggled, glancing back as Liam was locking the front door.
"Thanks; welcome to my bachelor's pad basically – well it's a bachelor's pad again now that all of Sophia's things are gone." He chuckled timidly, just feeling glad that she really liked it. He had no idea why he felt so nervous around her or felt like she'd be judging him due to the fact that she practically lived in one of the best countryside neighborhoods of London in a massive house – Cheryl was the least judgmental person ever in the world. Still, this didn't stop Liam from actually tidying up his apartment to the best of his ability as he really had wanted to impress her; having actually had a slightly heart attack when she'd asked to come over so out of the blue.
