Taken Captive

I got onto the bus with the guardians in tow. The people gasped when they saw me load on, but I flashed them a smile and they practically gaped. Don't get me wrong, I like taking strolls down the neighborhood, but only in the morning when all the vamps are asleep and I can feel the sun. I sleep on a mostly human schedule, but sometimes I squeeze in a day or two to be a vampire. It's a wonder Adrian and I have been able to maintain a relationship without him melting in the sun.

A guardian drove the bus, and as the long hours dragged by I felt myself geting bored. Then I smelt a rotting corspe, and knew we were near the Strigoi cave. I used compulsion on the driver to make him stop, and used compulsion on any of the Moroi that were awake to make them forget I was ever on the bus. Naturally, these things came easy.

As soon as I was off the bus, I was instantly in battle mode. I knew the Strigoi would come out in a few hours, and the guardians were already preparing to attack. I had to get these Strigoi taken care of beforehand.

I got dressed behind a tree. My shirt was painted with silver paint infused with spirit compulsion. Anyone, whether they be Strigoi, human, or Moroi would find themselves wanting to avoid me. Of course my boots had sharp silver charmed heels and one of my gloves was dusted with charmed silver dust, but my daggers and my sword were more deadly. I kept my sword carefully concealed, and stuffed my daggers in my boots.

I pulled on my hood, carefully concealing my identity. With confidence, I strolled into the cave and possibly to my doom.

As I took down the last Strigoi, it was the beginning of the Moroi morning, which meant the guardians will be coming soon. I smirked. My visions of Dimitri were the only thing keeping me busy. He attacked a group of guardians who had tried to attack Roza. Roza got locked up in jail for a murder she didn't commit, and he talked with Lissa about breaking her out and solving the murder. My senses told ,me that this was all going to turn out just fine.

Just then the cave was raded by guardians, pouring in by the dozen. Imagine their surprise when they found out I took down all those Strigoi alone.

Now imagine my surprise when they arrested me for it.
