I haven't seen nor talked to Adrian for a whole month, which bothered me to no end. I've gone out on a few more dates with Eddie, which calmed me down a little. It was a fun, flirty, and friendly relationship but I knew it would never go past what we have now. He was a guardian. His job came before everything.
Walking into the palace, I sighed. I had grown so accustomed to this life, that I was feeling more and more depressed with every step. Adrian, the Queen, Rose, Dimitri - they were all starting to affect me differently. Rose was on trial, and that itself was ridiculous. She didn't kill the queen, but all those stupid people thought she did. She was sentenced to death, which is something that needs to and is going to be stopped! She didn't deserve to die!
I collasped into a deep sleep, and instantly connected myself to Adrian. He looked a little irritated, but intrigued. I got him in a good place.
"Hello Ivashkov," I said, narrowing my eyes at him.
"Woah; what are you mad at me for?" he said, rubbing his eyes. The white cloudy scenery we were in melted into my log cabin home, and the sun was shining bright and luminously.
"For kissing me and then not speaking to me for a freaking month," I said venomously. "But that's not why I'm here. I actually came here to give you an escape plan for Rose."
That caught his attention.
"What?!"
"Relax, I got it all figured out; you talk to Rose's dad so he can have someone set up bombs in the statues near the church. That gets all the guardians and Morei out of the area. Then, you get Eddie and Dimitri to break Rose out. This al has to happen during your aunt's funeral, so people will be a lot more freaked out. People will be so distracted from that Rose's escape will barely register in their minds."
"Okay, that's not a bad plan." Adrian said, still surprised. "But how can Rose escape? She can't be alone. You know how Rose is."
"I know you won't like this, but Dimitri will have to be with her."
"What?! Why can't I go?!" He growled.
"Because, Rose is stubborn as a mule, and there's always something she's chasing after. Dimitri is the only one who'll be able to stop her from doing anything, and you know it." Adrian sighed, but didn't say anything else. "Rose and Dimitri will escape while Lissa, Christian, and you try to find who actually murdered the queen; you have got to compel some girls to ensure your safety; all you have to do is make them think they were with you while Rose was escaping. When Rose escapes, then lay back and wait for her to come back. But try to find out who actually murdered the queen and framed Rose."
"Okay, that's a good plan." Adrian said, smiling. "How are you so smart?"
"I'm not smart; I'm logical!" I said, smiling and pecking him on the cheek. "Now, bye Ivashkov!"
"No, wait-!"
I dissapeared before he could say anything else, and was sucked back into my own head. Adrian had a lot of making up to do if he thought I was going to even be friends with him again. I love him, and although he may not know that, leading me on is just plain horrible. He needs to earn my trust back, and more importantly, and big part of my love.
