Dans POV-

"Look Mia, Y/N never flirted with me, came onto me or anything like that, and you broke up with me any way" pj and Phil had forced me to phone Mia and try to reason with her "so why did you treat her unfairly?" Phil gave me the thumbs up "because she's a terrible artist" that's total bullshit, Y/N is one of the best artists I've ever met "you can't draw any better then her! And anyway, have you seen her drawings? They are amazing!" I've never realised until now how annoying Mia is, she will take down whoever she needs to, to get what she wants.

"No they are not! Plus, she's fugly anyway" ok what the fuck, she's obviously so jealous, over what? Me having one girl roommate? I'm glad she broke up with me "you know what Mia? Fuck you" I took the phone away from my ear and hung up.

"That escalated quickly" Phil said "I hope Y/N is ok" I really didn't want her past to repeat itself "I'll check on her".

Phil's POV-

"Y/N? Dan talked to Mia on the phone, I don't think she's going to change her mind" I opened her bedroom door but she wasn't there "Y/N?" I looked around her room and I couldn't find her any where "Pj! Dan! Get in here quickly!" Dan and PJ poked their heads around the door "what is it? Where's Y/N?" I was starting to panic a bit, where has she gone and why? "I don't know! I can't find her".

They both started to run around the flat searching for her and so did I, we checked every where, the bathroom, the scaffolding, even the little crawl space in the living room but we couldn't find her anywhere. "Fuck, I promised I wouldn't let this happen!" PJ sank to his knees and held his head in his hands, I kneeled down next to him "don't blame yourself PJ, she's probably just gone out for a little while to clear her mind, she'll be back soon".

Your POV-

I ran down the street, I needed to get away from this place. Because it was the start of autumn it was already getting really dark but I didn't care, to be honest I don't care about anything anymore. Art was my relief, the one thing that I could turn to when I felt down but now, that doesn't help anymore.

"Hey sweetie! How much for an hour of it?" Fucking cat callers, they are the last thing I need right now "once this herpes clears up I'm all yours!" That shut him up.

I started to slow down my pace to a fast walk, I kept walking like this until I heard some music coming from a cafe a few buildings down the street. I walked up to the cafe sign and it read 'Goan dogs playing live from 9 to 10pm!' I might as well check it out, my playlist is getting dry.

I strolled into the cafe and took a seat at a small round table, the band were on the stage setting up their gear and testing the mic for a little while before a waitress asked me for my order "milky tea please, two sugars" she smiled, nodded and walked back to the counter.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen! For our first song we will be playing 'flying business class' which is our own original song, we hope you enjoy!" The guy on the mic coughed and mumbled "1,2,3,4" then the band started to play and the singer started to sing "we played him like a fool and he won't know what hit him".

I tried to forget about the job and the flat and just let myself get lost in the music. The waitress brought my drink over and I paid her "enjoy the music" I smiled at her and continued to think. I took a sip of my tea and for a few minutes I was happy, but I knew that that happiness wouldn't last for very long.

Fun fact! The drummer in Goan dogs was my old primary school teacher! I only found out about his band like a week ago and tbh, I really like their music. I have put one of their music videos in the box at the top of this chapter so maybe you could go check them out? Anyway, thank you for reading this book! It really means so much to me you have no idea, so remember to vote, add this story to your reading list and comment! I love to know what you think! ONE LAST THING!!! THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT! Pastel or punk? I REALLY NEED YOU TO CHOOSE!!
