Dan and I woke up the next morning surrounded by empty crisp and haribo packets and dans laptop which was still playing YouTube videos but the volume was turned off, I guess we must've fell asleep without clearing up. Dan had his arms wrapped around me and our legs were intertwined, I felt so safe when his arms were around me.
I lay there for a little while, savouring dans embrace, when his toes began to wiggle around, tickling the back of my feet. Reflexively I began to laugh violently, I always did have sensitive feet when it came to tickling. My loud laughter made Dan jump awake suddenly and look around the room, clearly dazed. "Wh-what? Who's there? Y/N?" My laughter ebbed away into a light giggle and I rested my head on Dans shoulder "what is it? Why are you laughing". He chuckled a little bit while I tried to stop my giggles "you tickled my feet while you were sleeping" I explained as I stretched my arms and legs, I felt a little stiff.
"I guess I don't mind, I love hearing you laugh any way" aww bless, little comments like that just make me feel so special and appreciated "thank you love" I rewarded him with a kiss, his lips were so smooth and soft, they tasted nice too, like a combination of honey and blackberries. Before we got too crazy I pulled away, as soon as our lips stopped touching I felt like I was missing something. "Shall I go get us some cereal?" He offered, I nodded in agreement and lifted the blanket up for him. "Corn flakes?" I was actually pretty hungry so as long as I had some sort of food then I was happy "yes please".
Dan's POV
I snuck down the hallway quietly, not wanting to wake anyone up and have them try to apologise to me. I stopped suddenly outside the door to the kitchen as I heard PJ and Adams voices, I guess Adam must've stayed the night then. "When should we show him the surprise?" PJ asked in a hushed tone, what surprise? Who was it for? "When he wakes up, this is gonna be golden" maybe it's for me, but what could it be? Nothing good I imagine. It's probably some horrible prank.
Before I could hear anymore I decided to just go in, get the food and then leave. I pushed the door open confidently and sauntered to the cabinet where we keep the bowls, not even glancing at either of them once. "Oh, hi Dan" Adam greeted me warmly but his warmth was not returned, I retrieved two bowls from the cabinet and set them down on the counter. "Is Y/N awake?" I ignored his question again and pulled a box of corn flakes out of the pantry cupboard. "Are you ignoring us too?" I let my silence answer their question, hopefully now they'll leave me alone.
"Please don't be like this Dan, we weren't being mean on purpose yesterday" I strode to the fridge and pulled out a carton of milk, I was impressed at how long I've managed to keep my expression blank. "Just talk to us" I poured the corn flakes into one bowl at a time and splashed a bit of milk in after wards. "This is such a childish thing for you to do" after I had gotten two spoons from the cutlery drawer and dumped them in the bowls of cornflakes I lifted them off the counter and made my way towards the door.
"Fine, be like that, just remember that we both care about you" pfft. I'll believe that when I see it.
I walked down the hall cautiously, trying not to spill any of the cereal on the way back to my room or wake up anyone else. I was so tired and hungry, I'm probably just going to have a rest day today, I need to get my energy back.
I pushed my bedroom door open with the tip of my foot and was greeted with a clean bed and Y/N's beaming face. "I tidied up a bit while you were in the kitchen, did you run into anyone?" I sat down next to her on the bed and handed her her bowl of cereal. "Yeah, PJ and Adam tried to talk and apologise to me but I just got the cereal and left, it's too early to be dealing with them" Y/N nodded in agreement and we sat there in silence, quietly enjoying our much needed breakfast and each other's company.
It is currently 3:30am and I have finished re-watching the entire 1st season of Steven universe, I need help.
