Dan had fallen asleep, still hugging me, and I was checking all of the apps on my phone. It was about 12am and I was really tired but I didn't want to go to sleep yet. I opened up my Twitter and then remembered why I hadn't checked it in ages, my notifications were going absolutely mental.
I had hundreds of people tweeting me and I had over 500 new followers, I thought that this was because my YouTube channel was finally getting popular but no. It was because of that psycho stalker that has been trying to hunt me down. I guess they succeeded.
I checked their account again and they had changed their bio to 'DAN HAS A GIRLFRIEND CONFIRMED!!' This was terrifying.
I looked at their most recent tweets and the last thing they tweeted was 'YOU CAN SEE DAN IN THE MIRROR OF HER LAST YOUTUBE VIDEO, IT IS CONFIRMED PEOPLE!' They had a link attached and it was my last YouTube video and I felt like kicking myself, why didn't I remember the mirror?
Dans POV-
I woke up to a dull glow coming from Y/N's side of the bed, she must be on her phone. I removed my arms from her waist to stretch "what time is it?" I whispered to her, she didn't reply "Y/N?" I suddenly realised that she was sobbing "Y/N? What's wrong?".
I shuffled around and held her shoulder "look" she passed me her phone and I was furious. That dumb ass on Twitter was still harassing her. "Y/N, don't worry, I'll sort it out" I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and immediately opened Twitter, searched up that assholes username and direct messaged them.
'Hi, please can you stop harassing me and the people in my life, this is none of your business, thank you' to my surprise, they responded quite quickly 'I will, if you tell me if you're dating someone other than Phil' that little shit.
'It is none of your business, and also, please don't call yourself a fan any more, you're just a prick' if this wasn't on direct message and I wasn't famous I would destroy this person with words in a way that should be illegal.
'Are you or are you not dating someone?' Fuck this. I left the conversation and started to write a tweet 'I'm dating someone and that person isn't Phil or a boy, fucking deal with it' I added a deal with it gif for good measure and tweeted it.

"Y/N, try and get some sleep darling" I turned off her phone and put it on the bedside table for her "ok" she sniffled, I hated seeing her so upset "love you" she mumbled "I love you too".
I didn't go on my phone until I was certain she was asleep and the tweet I had published had gotten very mixed reactions. 'YAY! IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU DAN!' That was most of the replies which made me very happy but then there was the demon phannies 'WHAT THE FUCK DAN?? WHO IS SHE??' I replied to that tweet with a classic 'your mum' which got good feedback.
I was expecting a lot worse to be honest, I was quite proud of my fans and how they were dealing with it. Then again, the hunt for my girlfriend has just been kicked up a notch, the account who started all of this had already gotten 200 more followers and they said that they were looking harder than ever before to find who I was dating.
