You And I

Chapter 6:

Syd:

I woke up and I didn't realize where I was. I sat up and looked next to me seeing Niall asleep next to me. I smiled to myself at how cute he looked when he was sleeping then I looked at my phone and noticed I have half an hour to get ready and get to work. I got out of bed and ran downstairs where my clothes were. I hurried off to the bathroom and got changed running my fingers threw my hair to make me look a little more presentable. When I was finished getting ready I had 15 minuets to get to work. I walked back downstairs and Niall was waiting for me by the door completely dressed and had his keys in hand.

"I thought you were still sleeping." I said as I grabbed my bags.

"Well you left me so I woke up." He said as he opened the door and let me go ahead of him.

When we got to work we both walked up the stairs together since the elevator was packed. I sat down at my desk and Niall sat and talked to me until our boss came in. I started getting my work done while they talked and walked all over the building. I was halfway through a song mix when I was interrupted. "Can I help you?" I asked looking up to see Erica standing there holding Freddy.

"What are you doing here with his child!" I whisper screamed since Freddy was sleeping in her arms.

"I couldn't take being in that house any longer so I told Louis we were going for a walk and our walk landed us here." She said with a half smile and the small child moved in her arms.

"He's so cute, but you need to take him home before Louis finds out that you-" I started but was cut off.

"Awe, is that Freddy?" Niall asked walking in the room.

"Yes." Erica said.

"Niall, you say nothing to Louis about her bringing him here otherwise I will personally kill you." I said as I took the baby in my arms as he started fussing.

After playing with Freddy for an hour I gave him back to Erica and sent her on her way. I sat back down at my desk trying to get more work done when Niall closed my laptop. "What the hell." I said as I opened my laptop back up relived to see that I didn't lose any progress. "You are so lucky I didn't lose anything." I said as I saved it where I was before I did lose it.

"Your shifts almost over right?" He asked and I just nodded trying to get back to work.

"Well, how would like to come back over tonight. The guys and I are having a little get together and I figured you and Erica could come if she doesn't get stuck watching Freddy." He said.

"Sound great I'll tell Erica after work." I said only looking up at him to show I meant it before getting back to what I was doing.

After my shift ended, Niall took me home so I could change and talk to Erica about tonight. I changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a nice t-shirt. I did my make up and re-curled my hair. I grabbed my purse and met Erica in the living room. "Ready?" I asked as I pulled my converses on.

"Born ready." She said as she walked to the door with me. I locked up behind us and went and got in my car being that I still had yet to fix hers. We pulled up to Nialls house and there were three other cars here. I put the car in park and got out Erica following suit. I was about to knock on the door when it opened and Niall was standing in the doorway. "Welcome." Niall said opening the door so we could come in.

Not only where there three other guys but there were four girls. One was all over each of them and one on the couch acting lonely until Niall sat down next to her. She giggled and kissed his cheek. I could feel the heat in my body rise. Was I jealous? Why am I jealous? Lord please don't tell me I'm catching feelings for my best friend.
