You And I

Chapter 21:

Syd:

I woke up this morning and felt a little off. I got out of bed and tried going about my day when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach, I'm finally nine months in... Benjamin must be ready to meet the world. "NIALL!" I screamed and he came running with both our coats and the baby bag. We got to the hospital and they took me back right then and there. I made sure Niall was in the room, he was holding my hand dressed in scrubs.

"Is the pain getting any worse?" the nurse asked. My only response was screaming.

"She's ready doc." The nurse said and my doctor sat down and begin screaming over me telling me to push.

Finally after about an hour or 5 I was holding my baby boy after Niall got to cut the cord. "He's so beautiful." I said. as a tear ran down my face. Niall took a picture of the three of us and posted it on social media. A few minuets later Erica and Louis walked in with Freddy walking behind them and the new born in Louis' arms.

"Awe, what did you name him?" Erica said looking at him in my arms.

"Benjamin James." I said with a smile.

"Lord now that's three people that have the middle name James." Louis said.

"What's wrong with the middle name James?" I heard a voice say as they walked in.

"LI!!!" I whisper yelled so I wouldn't wake up the sleeping baby in my arms.

"He's so adorable." He said looking at him.

"You do know you guys can hold him, right?" I asked.

"Me first!" Li said and carefully taking the baby out of my arms and cradling him in his arms. "He's so tiny." Liam said kissing his forehead.

"Well yeah he was just born 4 hours ago." I said with a slight laugh.

"I know." He said as he gave Louis Benjamin.

"Can I hold him?" Freddy asked.

"Sit in the chair over there bud." Louis said as he walked after Freddy to the window.

He gave Benjamin to Freddy and Freddy held him just how he was told. "Hi Ben, I'm Freddy. I'm your new best friend. I will always look out for you just like I do my sister. I'll be a big brother to you too." Freddy said kissing the babies forehead. This brought everyone in the room to tears.

Freddy carefully got out of the chair and walked over to the crib and put him in. I smiled as Freddy climbed up on the bed with me and cuddled up to me. "I promise I'll watch out for him." He said as he kissed my cheek. "Thank you Freddy." I said kissing his cheek.

The doctors said we could finally take him home and when we got home he was pretty wide awake. I took him into the nursery and I sat in the rocking chair with him. "Welcome home baby boy." I said as he looked around the room.

"I think you're gonna love it here." I said kissing his forehead and he giggled as he grabbed my nose.

"Silly boy." I said rubbing my nose against his.

He let out a yawn so I started rocking back and forth and soon he was out. I put him in his crib and walked to our bedroom. I crawled in bed and soon Niall joined. As soon as I was about to fall asleep, crying came over the baby monitor.

"I got it."
