It's been another 6 months and today's the day. Niall and I have been together for a year. The time has flown by so fast. I remember just yesterday he was accusing me of dating Liam; no literally I went to Liam's while he was at work and he was like you spend so much time with him if you like him just tell me. Then we both just burst out laughing and I kissed him as he pulled me into a hug.

When we got home he had the whole house set up. I think he lied about having to work today. The house was clean, there was food on the dining room table, with candles light on each end of the table. After dinner, he led me to the bathroom where the tub was filled with bubbles and rose petals were scattered on the floor. "Okay if this is your idea of trying to have sex with me, you should know, you don't have to try this hard. You can hand me pizza and I will sleep with you. Food makes me happy, no need for rose petals babe, lets be real." I said as we both laughed and both of our faces flushed slightly red.

Even though we have been dating for a year, we haven't had sex. I know what you're thinking but that's not what we based our relationship on, plus with us both working so much, we either don't have the time or we're just too damn tired. I stripped my clothes off and walked over to the tub. The water was still warm and when I looked back at Niall he looked like a deer in headlights. "Well don't leave me stranded, join me." I said climbing into the tub and sinking into the warm water.

Niall soon joined me. He sat behind me and I leaned against him as he sang to me. It was some song that One Direction made, but I loved every bit of it.

"I figured it out, I figured it out from black and white. Seconds and hours, maybe we had to take some time. I know how it goes, I know how it goes from wrong and right. Silence and sound. Did they ever hold each other tight, like us? Did they ever fight, like us?

You and I" He finished the song and I was starting to drift off to sleep as the water in the tub started going cold. We got out and wrapped ourselves in towels. "That song is beautiful." I said kissing him. "Well usually there are 4 other guys singing it with me so it sounds better but you get the point." He said with a smile as he rested his forehead against mine.

"Today's been great, I can't believe I ever dated anyone else." I said.

"Today's just the beginning." Niall said as we stood on the balcony, still only in towels, watching the sun set.

"I love you." I said facing him the sun lighting up his face as he looked at me.

"I love you too, with all my heart and soul." He said as he pulled me in for a kiss as the sun set beside us.
