(Sky's POV)
"You're joking, right?" My voice cracks.
"No. Sky, I thought we weren't going to be together until the game was over?" He says.
"We have never talked about that, Zayn!" I yell.
"It was pretty damn obvious!" He laughs again, allowing a sour tear to drop quickly from my eye.
"Obvious? You slept with me last night! How the hell did you think that would be obvious to me! You're using me, aren't you! You little fucker! How dare you? You told me you loved me, and I thought you were telling the truth, but no! You know what? I should've listened to Louis! I should've just been with Harry!" I yell, and Zayn finally snaps.
"Harry? You think Harry cares about you! Or anyone else for that matter? Look at you! You've got a busted up nose caused by a guy you're siding with! You're such an idiot, Sky!" Zayn spats, and I smack him across his frustrated face.
He clenches his jaw, and Jade steps in.
"Get in the car, Zayn." She says, and he shakes his head.
"No. I'll find my way back home." He walks away, flaring his arms around in anger.
I drop to my knees, struggling to breathe.
How could he? He seemed so loving and caring. I thought I had finally found someone that cared, but I guess not.
Hot tears run down my face, and I hold my chest. The aching in my heart is an actual, physical pain that allows me to shed more tears.
"Sky, I'm so sorry." Jade bends down to me, and I look to her.
I nod, as she helps me up, and I look to her.
"It's fine." I let out more burning tears and let in deep breaths, but the emptiness inside of me still reins.
"Hey, I guess we both had boy problems today, huh?" Jade laughs, and I manage to do so as well.
"Yeah. Erm, I'm really sorry about Louis. I shouldn't have said anything to him." I apologize.
Jade smiles to me, "It's okay. I'm okay. Tomorrow will be really awkward for all of us but it'll be fine."
Stacy is awfully quiet as we head back into the car. Jade turns on the radio to ease the tension and sooner or later we're sitting in my driveway.
"I'll see you guys tomorrow, okay?" I say, and they both nod and say their good byes.
I look to Zayn's house, scoff, then walk up to my front door.
After knocking for twenty minutes, I come to a conclusion that no one is home.
I sit on the porch and rest my head in my palm as I wait in the cold wind.
I text my mom my dilemma, but receive no answer.
I see a cab pull up on our street, and Zayn steps out. I stupidly cover my face with my jacket, as if he won't see me but he does anyways.
Our eyes meet and he looks away quickly.
I sniffle, due to the cold and my constant tears before, finally, seeing my mothers car pull up into the garage.
My legs carry me to the garage opening, and mom smiles to me.
I wave to her, and the smiles is torn off of her warm face.
"What happened to your nose, baby!" She says, and inspects my face.
"I had a problem with a girl after school. No biggie." I say. That wasn't lying, I was simply just not telling the whole truth.
