(Sky's POV)

"Harry?" I ask.

"H-Hey, Sky." He says, and smiles a weak smile. His eyes were red and puffy, and there was also bags underneath them. His curls were disheveled, and he genuinely looked exhausted. I looked to his hands, and noticed a bouquet of flowers.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"Just hanging around. What about you?" He says, and looks down.

"Internship." I smile.

"I've got to go. See ya." He says quickly, then walks down the hall.

Part of me wants to follow him, but the other half, the smarter one, tells me to get changed, and do what I was told to do. So, I do what she says.

I take the clipboard Shania gave me, and start at the first room. After an hour of greeting the patients, and talking to them, I'm suddenly regretting choosing Cancer Patient Care. It's heartbreaking to see them with there families.

I sigh, then walk into the next room.

"Hello, I'm Sky N-"

I'm cut off by the sight in front of me. The patient looks the sickest out of all I've seen today. Her head a shiny bald, and her skin as pale as a sheet of paper while she sleeps. The bags under her eyes taking up most of her face, and her cheekbones are clearly visible due to loss of weight.

That's not even the worst part.

There beside her, was Harry, looking up at me, tears streaming down his face.

"Harry, you've got to go for now. Your mother needs some rest." Shania comes into the room behind me.

Mother?

Harry nods, then wipes his moist cheeks as he leaves the room.

"That was Harry. This is his mother, Anne. She doesn't have too long left. The other day she was doing fine, but then she got really weak, and was put back on Intense Chemotherapy." Shania says, as she replaces Anne's saline bag.

"I k-know Harry." I say, tears threatening to escape my eyes.

"Really? That's good. He could use another friend." She says.

"Another?" I say.

"Yeah. His best friend, Louis, comes here all the time. They were here for the past week since Anne got more ill. Harry's sister, Gemma, is in the hospital herself. She tried to commit suicide." Shania sighs, as she covers Anne with her sheets.

That's enough to let a tear run down my face, "Shania, I need to go to the bathroom. Ill see you in a little bit."

I run out of the room, and down the hall, hyperventilating.

"S-Sky?" Harry's weak voice is heard behind me.

I turn around to him, "Harry, I'm so sorry."

He nods, and wraps his arms around me. He rests his head on my chest, as he sobs. I run my hand through his curls, comfortingly.

Here I was, thinking this green eyed boy had no heart, and only cared about himself. Boy, was I wrong. How could he ever keep this to himself. This is completely overwhelming.

"Harry, why did you hide it from everyone, and kept that stupid image?" I ask.

Harry looks to me, tears rapidly escaping his eyes. The sight is so heartbreaking, I've got watery eyes as he speaks, "You remember that one morning when we were in the music room? You went up to the piano and sat there, ready to play. I had doubted you, because in my eyes, nothing could ever be perfect, or even have the chance to be amazing. I told you that you couldn't actually play it, and you showed me. You showed me you could, that you could do it. When you were finished, I'll never forget what you said, 'Anything is easy if you have a mind set for it to be'. I thought that through, carefully, because of life. Life has never been easy for me, Sky. I don't have a mind set for it to even be decent, so my way of hiding the pain I feel, is to cover it up with a different person. A different me. One thats confident, powerful, and can take happiness from others, so it seems as if he has his own. I'm sorry I never told you, but I've gone through someone loosing my trust. I don't want you to loose my trust, because I don't want to loose you."
