Nothing, because we never did. It was our idea of love. Plastic and perfected, yeah, but love isn't perfect or plastic. It's flawed and hurts sometimes, but that's why people crave it. You ask why. The reason is because we all want it, even though it hurts and kills us inside, we crave something real in this world of plastic.
Sometimes we don't wait for real feelings, we create them, trick ourselves into thinking we love that person, when in reality it was only plastic.
