Chapter 13

I seriously need some inspiration. My mind has become jelly. Adrienette and LadyNoir forever!!!!!! Anyway, how Dash's parents died shall be answered. Warning: Prepare for the feels. 😿

Dash's P.O.V:

I went to bed thinking about what I did. It was the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life! Why would I kiss a boy on the cheek if known him for only 2 MONTHS?!

As I went to sleep, a nightmare played in my head: the death of my parents.

Flashback: Prepare for the feels. 😿

When I was 11, I was on a road trip to go see a soccer game. The Wonderbolts, my idols, were playing against the Shadowbolts and my dad scored tickets just for me. You could say I was dads little girl. Pretty spoiled.

"Are we there yet?!" I asked for the umpteenth time.

"We're almost there Rainbow. We just to fuel the car up." dad said patiently while he turned to a deserted gas place.

"Blaze, are you sure it's okay to be here?" mom asked uncertain. "It looks to deserted."

"I'm sure. Once we fuel the car, we'll be watching the Wonderbolts win! Won't we squirt?" dad answered proudly and playfully ruffled my hair. But little did I know, later it won't be okay.

We fueled up the car and we continued driving towards the game. And I was as happy as I could be.

But then suddenly, a white limousine ran speeding up towards us. The drivers looked like lunatics, purposely driving crazy! And it was speeding towards us!

I remembered the car bursting into flames.

"Help! Someone help!" I called 911.

"What's the emergency?" the guy on the other side called.

"My parents are in car crash! You need to come quick!" I literally screamed at the guy. Soon, the ambulance FINALLY came and took my parents in the truck. Beside my car was the limousine that sped up. The police looked inside the limo but the people were nowhere to be found.

After the ambulance came to a hospital, 2 hours later, I asked if they were going to be okay.

"They won't make it. They lost a lot of fluid, too much fluid. You can talk to them." the doctor said sadly. I shuffled in the room looking at my dying parents. I broke out into sobs on their deathbed as my mom petted my hair.

"Why do you have to go?" I asked quietly between sobs. Dad looked at me with sad smile.

"Dash, we'll always be with you. Don't cry, we want you to be happy." Dad explained, his eyes closing.

"Find someone who loves you as much as we do so don't cry over us." mom added and pulled out a necklace with a red lightning bolt on it. "Take this and remember, we'll always be with you Rainbow Dash."

Then they were gone. I cried and couldn't watch them die. The doctor hugged me in comfort.

"Don't worry. They're in heaven. They're in a better place." he comfort me. I tried to feel okay since they were in a better place. But I loved them and I couldn't let it go. And I couldn't ask if I could stay somewhere.

I just ran away, sobbing more with each step I took.

End of flashback: 😭😭😭😭😭

I woke up in a cold sweat. I think I might've screamed or something because I heard Blitz running to my room.

"Dash, are you okay?" he asked with concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a bad dream. That's all." I sighed sadly. He sat beside me silently and put his arms around me.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Blitz asked. I shook my head and put my head on his shoulder. I don't know about these emotions, but being with Blitz felt.....comforting. It felt like we were the only two people in the world.

And we dozed off on my bed that night.

Hey guys. I cried while I typed this. And this song made me extra sad! 😭😭😭😭😭😭  I was so sad that I didn't even intrude the story. Anyway, I hoped you enjoyed this sad, sad chapter. 😔
