I sighed. Do I really have a choice? Well. At least their pay is reasonable.

I knocked on the door and stepped in.

There sat a pale blonde haired man lazily looking through sheets of documents.

Slowly, his eyes landed on me. I simply bowed.

"Hello, sir."

"You must be the new secretary."

"That's right, sir."

And there was an awkward silence. I really wanted to leave.

"If you... E... Excuse me...-"

"Who knew... That one day, you would be working for me?" The man suddenly said.

I paused.

"I beg your pardon?"

"Ara ara, Kira-chan. You don't remember me?" The man asked.

I stared at the man for a while. I don't remember him, but something about him is familiar.

"I was in Raimon Junior High, just like you, dummy." He giggled. "My class was next to yours. How can you forget your school mate?"

Then it clicked. He was Gouenji Shuuya.

But... Wasn't his name Ishido Shuuji?

"I apologize for talking back, but that was about ten years ago. There's no way I can remember that."

I froze. He was my close friend, and like a brother to me. I still remember the time when he confessed his feelings to Natsumi.
