You sighed as you gently pressed the alarm to stop it from ringing loudly.

Another empty day.

You spiritlessly got off your bed and proceeded to the bathroom.

You took a look at the mirror, only to see the girl staring back at you with the same dull expression you were wearing.

Ugly.

I wonder...

What is a colourful world like?

Will anything re-paint my black and white world with bright colours?

The only colour other than black and white...

Was your scarlet red blood.

Ah, self-harming.

The only thing that gives let's me see a colour that is not black nor white.

Your lips curled upwards at the side of the razor blade hanging off the shelf, barely staying on.

You rolled up your sleeve to reveal the cuts you have made on your arm. You giggled softly.

Beautiful.

You spin the razor blade a few times before slashing your arm. You held down a few screams. Would not want to catch the neighbour's attention. You gritted your teeth.

Slash.

Slash.

Drip.

Drip.

As you panted, you slowly placed the razor blade back to where you picked it up.

You grabbed a few pieces of tissue and dabbed your bloody cuts, and then started getting ready for school.

You carefully adjusted your black hoodie before entering the classroom. You sighed, and then pushed the wooden door aside then stepped in.

Everything was black and white, despite being able to see all the other colours.

All the students were blurred out to black silhouettes, the chatter turning into white noise.

Murmurs and chattering could be heard everywhere in the class. In the end, you chose to sit in the back row, not too far away from the window.

You winced as you felt pain flowing down your arm, and starting daydreaming once you were done settling down.

You sighed contently, as you did not listen to the teacher's lecture, who was a bigger silhouette at the front of the class making more noise. Shortly, the bell rang. School has ended for today.

"That's it for today, class. Have a great afternoon." Was all you heard.

A bunch of cheering could be heard as the students immediately made a beeline for the door. You slowly packed your things and was the last to leave.
