"Hmm...? Don't bother. Mommy isn't going to save you." The bully taunted.

You started crying out as the bully continued hitting you.

You braced yourself, but you didn't feel anything.

Instead, you heard stomping noises fading away. Then a new set of footsteps came towards you.

You didn't make sound.

"Daijoubu?"

You hesitantly opened your eyes.

In front of you was a boy squatting down, his hair tied in a ponytail, and he had sharp red eyes.

He offered his hand, which you gladly took. And you noticed that he had a soccer ball in his other hand.

"I'm joining soccer club for sure!"

You giggled and went to look for your class.

But unfortunately, you got lost.

You looked around you, and found a student walking by.

You took out your class schedule and showed it to the student. He looked at it, and had a small smile.

"Follow me. We're in the same class."

You scrambled after him. The two of you walked awkwardly, and you secretly stole a glimpse of him.
