After you felt the power forming on your dominant hand, you thrusted it forward to catch the ball.

You felt the ball pushing you backwards slowly. Kurama smirked at the sight of you having a bit of trouble.

Growling at his facial expression, you tried your best to block his shoot.

"Don't get too confident, cocky brat!!"

You managed to stop Kurama's shoot by chance, causing the ball to fly away from you, but launching you into the goal instead.

You slowly crawled out of the goalpost.

You stared at your glove, which was burning from all that friction it had received from Kurama's shoot.

Kurama clicked his tongue in annoyance.

You growled silently.

"He's getting better at this..."

"Hah. You just blocked it by chance!" Kurama mocked.

You felt your heart beating faster and faster. But since you were enemies with Kurama, you knew that he would just laugh when you tell him your true feelings towards him. So, you act mad all the time to hide your feelings.

"Shut up! I blocked your stupid Side Winder!" You yelled.

"Yeah, right. You barely managed to stop my shoot! You're such a weakling!" Kurama shot back.

You felt like you had been stabbed in the heart.

"I'm not a weakling! You are!!" You argued. "I stopped your stupid shoot!"

"Hey, guys..." Aoi rubbed your back. "Stop fighting... It's just a match..."

"Y-Yeah..." Akane agreed.

The two of you 'tch'ed and looked away. The rest of the team sweatdropped.

You were packing up your stuff when the three managers approached you in a mysteriously cheerful manner.

"Hey, [L/N]-chan~" Aoi purred.

Immediately noticing the extreme sweetness in her tone, you groaned.

"Go away."

Ignoring your attitude, Aoi giggled.

"Guess what day is it tomorrow?" Midori grinned.

Yes. It is Valentines Day tomorrow...

You blushed, but quickly hid it.

"Tuesday?" You pretended to act oblivious. "Somebody's birthday?"

"Liar!" Aoi pouted. "Don't you dare think that we didn't see you blush! Who is it!? Oh! Is it him?"

You blushed again. But you shook your head.

"No!!" You panicked. "I don't like Kurama that way!!"

The three girls smirked.

"Oh, we didn't say anything about Kurama. You said it yourself." Midori laughed.
