***Ronnie's POV***
The next two weeks went by in a blur.
Many people around school had found out that Connor and I were truly a thing, and a bunch of girls made a point to ask me about every detail of our relationship.
I didn't even know half of them. They would all just come up to me in the hallway and say something like, "OH MY GOD!! Are you that girl that's dating Connor? OMG you are! AHH! He's so hot right? Tell me everything!"
And at the point where they figured out that I wasn't going to respond, they walked away, checking out every other boy in the hallway.
Why was that even necessary?
Homecoming was the next day, and I still wasn’t going to go. It wasn’t worth spending all of that money that I didn’t have on a stupid dress that I was only going to wear for one night.
Besides, I could just hang out with Connor on my own, and that was a lot easier for me. I couldn’t stand it when people stared at us or randomly exclaimed, "Y'all are soooo cute together!"
It got a little tiring.
Lauren was really excited about going with Ross, and although I still didn’t understand how that happened, I was really happy for her.
I was still concerned though, because she had been mixed up with a lot of guys like him before and I didn’t want her to get hurt again.
After school, Lauren and I were going to go shopping for a homecoming dress for her. I wanted her to look fabulous for the dance.
So after sixth period, I walked to the Senior lot so we could get a ride from Kinley. On the way there, I met Connor in the hallway.
"Hey Ronnie," He said with a smile before he planted a soft kiss on my cheek.
He held out his hand for me and I took it, only with slight hesitation.
As we walked down the halls, there were the usual giggles, the awhs, and the jealous girl staredowns.
"Is this ever going to end?" I looked up at Connor.
We stopped once we got outside and I sat on a picnic table.
He stood right in front of me and stared into my eyes.
"I can tolerate it as long as I'm with you," He said, his perfectly white teeth shining in the sunlight.
He leaned in and kissed me, a real kiss this time.
"Oh, get a room, you two," An unfamiliar voice came from behind me.
Connor looked up and his eyes went ice cold.
"Jennifer, what are you doing here?" He snapped at the girl, only taunting her to come closer.
The girl, Jennifer, I guess, laughed.
"I just wanted to see if the rumors were true. If you were seriously dating an innocent little virgin. And here she is!" She directed her gaze at me. "Tell me sweetie, are you a virgin? Or has Connor corrupted you too?"
I thought it was a joke at first, but now I was getting scared. Who was this girl? What was she talking about?
I looked up at Connor and started breathing fast. He saw that I was on the verge of a panic attack and put a comforting arm around me.
"Just leave her alone, Jennifer," He said to the girl. "She didn't do anything to you."
"You're right, she didn't do anything to me," She laughed, "But you did, don't you remember?"
"Let's get out of here." Connor whispered to me.
I got up and we quickly walked out of the parking lot and onto the trail that led to the woods behind our houses.
"Text Lauren and tell her that you're going to be late," He said, his voice rushed with urgency.
I pulled out my phone and did as I was told.
"Wait Connor." I said, struggling to catch my breath as we walked steadily faster, coming up to his house.
"Who was that girl?" He didn't answer.
"What was she talking about?" We climbed the stairs of his house up to his room.
"Why won't you answer me?" I asked.
When we got into his room, he shut the door forcefully and sat me down on his bed. He started pacing and running his fingers through his hair. My heart was beating fast. I started to tear up a little.
"Connor you're scaring me," I said, terrified of his response.
He stopped pacing and immediately looked at me. He kneeled down on the ground in front of me and took my hands.
"I never meant to make you scared, baby," He sat on the bed next to me and looked at the ground.
"But there are some things I need to tell you about," He looked back up at me and wiped a tear from my cheek.
"That girl who was just talking to me, her name is Jennifer Allen. She used to go to our school but got expelled in the first month of this year. She goes to a school with a correctional program that's on the other side of town. Last year.. I dated her. I thought that she was a good person, but all she is is trouble. I was at a party with her and a lot of other sketchy people and I got drunk. I didn't really know what was going on, but I slept with her. The next day, she told everyone what happened, but she changed the story up. She told people that I forced myself on her, when it was really the other way around. And I want you to know the truth, not some rumor from anyone else. And I need you to trust that I would never do anything like that to you, alright?" He spilled to me.
"You promise?" I asked, my breathing slowing.
"I promise," He replied, "I love you. I really do."
"I love you too."

Based on the previous question, I am going to add Mr. Justin Caylen into this story in a few chapters. It might take a while, though, so don't get too excited.
Edits are hard btw. Check out the one in the sidebar.
Question of the day: How did you find o2l?
I found them through JC and Ricardo back in the TheseDudez days.
