***Ronnie's POV***

My eyes flutter open due to the bright sun coming through my window. I start to get up, but something is holding me back.

I look down to my waist to see an arm, then I remember everything.

I turn to the side and find a sleeping Connor. Smiling, I gently shake his shoulder to wake him.

"Good morning," He mutters in a deep voice, his eyes still closed.

Realizing that he wasn't going to get up anytime soon, I walked out of my room and started a pot of coffee. Timothy walked in the kitchen a few minutes later, causing me to panic.

What was he going to say about Connor?

I couldn't deal with this right now.

I turned around and walked quickly back to my bedroom.

"Connor," I said, shaking his shoulder harder this time.

"What?" He asked, sitting up.

"You have to leave, and act like you were never here. Put on a shirt," I responded in a rushed tone.

"Why? It's not like we did anything," He tried to defend himself.

"But I don't want Tim to assume that we did, because you and I both know that he will," I said.

Agreeing with me, Connor made his way out of my room, quietly sneaking through the hallway and out the door. I let out a sigh of relief when I walked into the kitchen to find Timothy sitting there, not suspicious of anything.

"Are you still going with your other friends today, or are you doing something with Connor?" Tim asked, not looking up from the paper that he was reading.

I tried not to read too much into his statement. Did he know that Connor stayed last night? Did he care? It didn't matter anyway, Connor was right, we didn't do anything.

"I'm not sure yet, I just know that I'm not going to be here," I responded. "When is Jake coming home?"

Tim looked up at the calendar attached to the refrigerator and I could tell that he was doing the math in his head.

"He's going to come in late Tuesday night, but Hannah won't be here until Wednesday. Have you bought anything for them yet? Christmas is only ten days away," Tim reminded me.

I put that on the list of things I needed to do today. I wondered if Connor would be willing to go shopping with me? He doesn't have a car, so unless him mom lets him drive one of theirs, I don't know how we would be able to get anywhere.

I could invite Grace to come with us, her and Connor are friends, right?

But maybe that won't be such a good idea, because I don't think Connor wants it to be any more than just the two of us.

My thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. I smiled when I realized that we had got away with it.

"Hey Connor!" I said with fake surprise as I opened the door. "I didn't know that you were coming."

I might not be the best actor, but it was good enough. Timothy didn't suspect a thing.

"Do you want to go do something?" He asked, now standing in the kitchen with Tim and I.

I quickly nodded, then looked to Timothy for approval.

When he said I could go, I ran to my room to grab a few things before we could leave. I tried to be quick, I didn't want Connor to have to be alone with Tim for too long.
