"Jesus Christ, finally!" Patrick scrambles over Pete to get out of the bus. "I've had to pee since we left Camisado!"
"Dude, that was like... two hours ago." Dallon rolls his eyes, but gets up to follow into the gas station the band-bus-parade has stopped at.
Brendon catches Josh's eye, having to hold himself back from laughing out loud. Tyler is sleeping curled up on Josh, emitting light snores.
"Uh, help?" The pillow asks, frowning down at the brown haired fluff.
"Nah dude, this is all you." Brendon smiles ruefully at Josh before following Hayley and Ashley off the bus.
The air conditioned gas station is a nice break from the stuffed bus, and Brendon breathes it in. He peruses a few aisles, grabbing some candy and a bag of chips. He's about to go check out when he hears a shrill "Beebo!" from behind him.
Brendon turns to see Pete standing outside the bathroom doors, gesturing wildly to Brendon who goes over.
"Are you trying to get my attention or flag down a plane?" Brendon asks with an eye roll, which earns him a stale glare from Pete.
"It's about 'Trick."
Brendon quirks an eyebrow, "Who?"
"Dude, Patrick? He hates it when people call him Pat, so I came up with 'Trick instead."
"Fine, what about Patrick?"
"I think I just agreed to a date with him?" It comes out as more of a question.
"That's great! Everyone knows you like each other." Pete's wide eyes make Brendon have to stifle giggles.
"Everyone...? Never mind, what am I going to do?"
"Go on a date with Patrick. Well, right now you're going to pay for my Funyuns for dragging me into your love life." Brendon pokes Pete in the side, earning a scowl that melts off his face when Patrick comes out of the bathroom.
"You ready Pete?" Patrick asks, oblivious to their earlier conversation.
"Uh-" Pete hands Brendon a dollar from behind his back. "Y-yeah."
Brendon doesn't hold back his giggles as he walks back to the cashier.
