It was nightfall. I was sitting on my bed and resting my back against the head board while writing about my crappy day on my so called 'diary'. There were two days left before school starts again.I was about to write the last word on my diary, when a monster knock on my door, just kidding. It was my mom.

"Hey, mom." I greeted with a forced smile.

"Julie there's something I want to tell you." She said while patting my shoulder.

"Yeah, what is it?" I asked. Maybe my mom had bought me a car!

"Julie, you should start packing." She stated.

"What? Why?" Darn! I looked like a confuse puppy.

"You seriously should start packing!" She repeated.

"Okay, fine!" I replied. She twisted the doornob, ready to step out of my room.

"Mom, wait..." I called out.

"Yes?" She asked, raising her right brow.

"For what?" I asked again. "Why do I need to pack, all of a sudden?" I knitted my brows together.

"Because we're moving to Colorado tomorrow. " She answered, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Tomorrow?!" I shouted. "Why haven't you mentioned this to me before?"

"I kind of forgot." Was her only reply.

"Do you think I could somehow throw a going away party?" I asked.

"Do you think there will be a certain amount of people that would show up? As far as I'm concerned, you don't have any friends here." She pointed out. I just roll my eyes for response.

"That's why we are moving to Colorado. So we could start a new life. Who knows? Maybe you will have lots of friends there." My dad suddenly appeared right behind me that caused me to jump an inch high.

"Sweet Jesus, dad! You scared me." I said while catching my breath.

"So are you going to start packing now?" Dad asked.

"I will. If you two will step out of my room, please?" I politely requested. They just rolled their eyes for response.

I gathered all of my traveling stuff and started packing my precious things. I put my favorite books on a huge box. After that, I quickly throw myself to my comfy bed and fell asleep.

"Hey princess, wake up!" A very familiar voice sang, tickling my nose at the same time. I groaned in annoyance and buried my head under the pillow.

"Princess." The voice whispered again. I can't take this anymore! This human being is freaking disturbing my sleep. I stretched my legs and kicked him on the crotch.

"Goddamnit!" He groaned, sounding pained.

And the point goes to Julie.

"Hey, you psychotic sadist! Wake up!" He yelled, right on my left ear.

"Go away. I need some sleep."

"We're leaving for Colorado today, you idiot!"

Wait, what? Ugh, our flight to Colorado is today. I totally forgot! I'm such a dummy. I went out of my room and rushed towards the bathroom while mom, dad and Austin were peacefully eating their breakfast.

After everything was settled, we got out of the house and put all of our stuff inside the trunk of the car. Then, Dad started the car and as the car started to move, I was looking back at our house which was once called home.
