Rouge

Chapter 4

*Rouge's POV*

After I had run past the packs border I didn't stop running, I had a feeling that they were going to come after me soon and I had to get to Adela before I lost the chance. But suddenly I stopped as i realized that I don't even know where she lives. She is undetected by everyone so how am i supposed to find her? 

Slowly i came to a stop and took a deep breath, 'Calm down rouge.' came Alexandria's voice. 'have you seen your wolf yet?' 

'No.' I responded and with that I perked my ears and listened for the sound of a stream of water. It was then that i fully realized that I now had all of my senses heightened. I could see everything so perfect and defined for about mile. I could smell everything with in probably a 10 mile radius, of course the farther away the harder it is to smell. It was crazy and wonderful, i never thought being a wolf could be this much fun. 

Quickly I resumed my search for a stream, i closed my eyes again and perked my ears. Slowly i began to filter through the sounds and disregard anything other than the sound of a river. After about 3 minutes I found the sound and smiled my wolfish smile before taking off towards the stream. Once i reached the river bank I looked into the water, but i couldn't see anything...Oh well i guess it doesn't really matter.

I took a drink of the water before continuing on my journey of finding Adela.

It was a long time, way past sunset, before i finally stopped and decided to rest. My body was so exhausted that i couldn't take another step. But that's when i realized that I had no idea how to shift back into my human form. Before I had enough time to freak out I decided to ask Alexandria.

'Alexandria?' I asked in my head. 'Hello?'

"Yes dear?' She replied soon after. 

'Yeah so i was just wondering, how do i change back into a human?' I questioned slightly embarrassed. She chuckled lightly before responding.

'All you have to do is imagine yourself as a human. Think about your nose mouth, eyes and ears. Think about what they look like." She paused for a minute, before continuing. ' Think about you feet and legs, your hands and arms, your hair.'

I did as I was told, and slowly i could feel my bones popping and realigning themselves to fit my new form. It hurt pretty bad but not enough to make me cry. 'Does it take that long or hurt that much everytime?' I asked her slightly worried. 

' No dear. It will become a second nature you you pretty soon.' And with that she was gone. I don't know how i could tell i just...could. I was feeling very proud of myself for shifting on my own, but alas all things must come to an end and i quickly realized that I was naken and had absolutly no clothes to put on.

A/N: Okay so this was kind of a filler chapter and its really short, im really sorry about how long it has taken me to update. It wont take me as long this time, it will be up by monday.
