Chapter 21

Ethan's POV
"Ethan how come every time you take me on a date it's a surprise?" She giggled and rolled her eyes. "You know I hate surprises." I laughed as I remember the amount of times she has said 'I hate surprises' in the 10 months that we first dated. I missed hearing her say that.
"I think that you actually like my surprises baby girl." I grinned at my words. I'm taking her to a place that will no doubt make her fall back in love with me completely.
As we got closer I noticed her sitting on the edge of her seat, trying to hide a smile and blush.
"Why are you smiling like that?" I asked.
She let her perfect teeth shine as she whispered, "I think I remember this route." She bit her lip.
"Oh really?" I laughed. I hope she does.

Scarlet's POV
I wasn't sure at first, but now I know that this is it. Where he's taking me. The memories flashed through my head as if it happened yesterday.
'We were on the edge of a cliff, looking over the city. The bright lights were glowing brilliantly in the darkness. I could see cars driving through the night, and the traffic lights shining green and red.
"This is my spot." He whispered as he sat on the edge, dangling his feet over the city.'

We arrived at his spot, just as I recalled it. He walked towards the edge and spread his arms out while spinning around. I laughed at his silliness.
"Okay, but why did you take me here?"
"This is where we first kissed." He looked down, smiling at the memory. I felt instant butterflies as he said it. I couldn't control my blushing and I'm almost positive my face was a cherry shade of red.
"So?" I challenged him.
"So, our first kiss as us officially dating again has to be here." He claimed.
"Who says we are dating?"
  "I do. So shut up and let me kiss you."
  I walked over to him and looked him in the beautiful hazel eyes. He brushed my hair behind my ear as he glared into my own eyes. He slowly leaned in and kissed me as if it was the first time all over again. By that, I mean he kissed me the same way he did the first time. He rested his forehead on mine and smiled at me. This boy is killing me.
