Chapter 2: Guys and mood swings

As soon as I opened the door everyone went silent and all eyes were on me. As you can tell I love the attention. Note the sarcasm.

I then realised that I was the last one in class, I'm always the first along with my friends. Even Tyler the school's player and soccer star was here. Tyler's always late. But I suppose I'm late too.

"Sorry I'm late there was heaps of traffic" I lied smoothly putting on a fake smile.

Well it's true though. There was heaps of traffic... lights.

"Thats alright, it's your first time unlike someone else's" the teacher replied glaring at Tyler who was smirking. Indicating that he probably just arrived as well.

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at Tyler. I thanked the teacher and went to find a seat.

I locked eyes with Charlotte who was at the front of the class and looked at me questionably. I just mouthed later to her and she nodded understandingly.

It was then that I realised the only spot that was free was next to Tyler. I felt Tyler's eyes bore into me the whole time, but I chose to ignore him. Afraid that if I looked, then I'd probably faint. Tyler might be an asshole but he's got the looks of a model. His sexy yet arrogant smirk that makes any girl drop to their knees. And his smile. A smile that can make any girl fall in love with him, just from a smile. He's quite the charmer actually. Charlotte told me that he's a jerk and to never trust a guy like him. But never judge a book by it's cover. Meaning that I'd like to meet him myself before I start judging him.

I decided to ignore him and listen to the teacher, just so I don't create another scene and embarrass myself even more.

The teacher gave us a worksheet to work on 'individually' but I guess someone didn't quite get that part.

"Pst" Someone whispered next to me.

Looking to my right and I saw Tyler looking at me. His icy blue eyes staring directly at my brown eyes.

"I need the answers" he whispered looking at the teacher then at me.

"Me?" I questioned pointing my index finger at me, stunned by him noticing me. I mentally face palmed myself. Great way to make an impression. He probably thinks that I'm a dork now.

I was starting to think that he was one of those people that have eye problems, and look at a certain person but is talking to a different person.

"No, the teacher" Tyler replied sarcastically whilst rolling his eyes.

"What part of working individually do you not understand Tyler?" The teacher asked annoyed.

Tyler mumbled something under his breath and went back to staring at his paper. My eyes lingered at his face. On his sweet plump lips. His strong jaw line. His gorgeous icy blue eyes that every person envies. And his soft brown hair.

The period bell went and students started filing out of the classroom. I collected my books and made my way to the hallway. As soon as I made my way outside the classroom Charlotte had tackled me.

"Oh my god. Why the hell were you late? You have never been late to school before. Wait let me guess, you have finally decided to be a rebel? Oh our little baby's finally grown up" Charlotte said fake crying at the end.

"I didn't mean to be late, I just woke up late" I explained to a disappointed Charlotte.

"She'll be a rebel one day" Charlotte said to herself.

"Charlotte, we're good girls, we aren't rebels" I said thoughtfully.

"I know" Charlotte said with a sad face.
