Chapter 12

Sam's P.O.V
I could tell that Jack really had something to tell me. "Sam..." He tried again. I nodded my head to show him I was listening. "Do you remember me talking about my ex girlfriend Maddy?" He sighed. "Yea." I whispered. "Well um... She's a...p-pregnant." He said staring at me.

All I could do was stare back. Maddy was pregnant, how could this happen. "Um... She's already eight months." He whispered as he dropped his head. "Apparently she was pregnant before we broke up, which was before I found you." He explained. "I...don't know what to say." I said honestly.

Mark came in after five minutes of just us staring at each other. "Hey guys...uh you guys ok?" Mark asked walking over to the bed. "Yea." Jack said. "Ok." Mark shrugged. "Well our flight leaves in like an hour so we better get going."

-----------time skip to airport------------

We walked up to our gate with our carry ons and gave the flight attendant our boarding passes. We walked over to our seats and sat down. Jack got the window seat, I sat on the end, and Mark sat between us.

Within five minutes of the plane taking off Jack fell asleep. I was still very shocked about the whole Maddy thing. Apparently Mark could tell something was up. "Is there something bothering you Sam?" Mark asked. I nodded my head as I stared down at my feet. "You wanna talk about it?" He asked. I shrugged.  "Well, um...you know Dad's ex girlfriend Maddy?" I asked. He nodded. "She's...um...she's pregnant." I said, lowering my head. "Oh Sam, it's ok." Mark said hugging me. "Don't worry about it. It will just distract you from having fun at PAX."

We finally reached our destination! PAX here we are! We checked in at our hotel, unpacked and went straight to the convention. Mark had his panel with Ken, Felix, and Jack. I stayed back stage with a really nice security guard named Kevin. Felix and Ken both wanted to meet me so Jack decided to call me out on stage.

Jack was waving me out in stage, but my legs didn't move. He finally went backstage grabbed my hand and brought me out to meet the guys. "Sam, this is Felix and this is Ken." Jack said. "Hi." I said shyly. The two both said hi and pulled me into a hug. Felix told me that I should stay and play cards against humanity with them, but I decided it would be better if I waited back stage.

Once their panel was over they all had a signing together. I went with Jack to his table and sat back with all our stuff. I watched as people gave Jack mini Sams, bracelets, fan art. Everyone one was so genuine. I noticed that one boy pointed over towards me. Jack nodded and walk over to me. "Come on!" He said grabbing my hand. The boy's name was Ethan. It turns out that he wanted to meet me. We stepped out of Jack's line so we could talk.

"I think your dad is amazing." He said. "He's helped me through a lot." "Thanks. I guess I'll keep him around." I smiled. "Do you have your own channel?" He asked. That was something that I had never thought about. I had always wanted to start one, but just never thought it would work. "I want to make one." I said.

"Here." He said. He handed me a piece of paper. "Dm your channel name so I can subscribe." He said before walking away. Wow that boy was hot.

I went back to my position at Jack's table as keeper of our belongings. All I could think about was Ethan. I have to get my channel started!
