Its been a month since I told Jamal bout, Emerald. He has come to see her every day. It's good he comes around. It's good that Emerald had a father figure in her life.

I got her ready and feed her. I was walking out the door when I saw Jamal sitting on his car.
"What took Y'all so long?" he smiled.
"Daddy!!" Emerald ran to him. He picked her up. I walked up to him.
"Wyd here Jamal?" I put my hands on my hips.
"I want to take y'all to school."
"Really daddy?"
"Yea baby." she smiled. Her smile made me smile. "So can I take Y'all. And before u ask I already got a car seat for her."
"You are really trying huh?" he nodded. "Fine."
"Yay!!" I laughed as I got in the car. He put her in the car seat in the back.
He got in and started it up and left. I gave him directions to her daycare.
"Bye Mommy Bye Daddy" she hugged us both and ran into her school.
We waited till she got in the school then pulled off.
"Heyy its this lil family cookout at my house. I want you and Emerald to come. It's Saturday."
"Sure. It will be nice to let Emerald meet some cousins."
"Heyy you remember that night right?"

"Didn't you have a boyfriend?"
"I did but we broke up like 2 weeks before the party. Why?"
