Entry 1:
My alarm rang and I managed to wake up. Monday mornings were terrible for me- I was always late for work, and I could never get a morning surf in. For me, that sucked. I tied my red hair back into a ponytail to prevent a bad hair day, and trudged into the kitchen of the small flat I shared with an old family friend, Lilli wearing an old musical shirt and a pair of half see-through boxers that I stole off my ex-boyfriend.
Trust me, I washed them. I'm not that gross- or am I?
I heard somebody fiddling about with the stove top, and I grabbed out the instant coffee from the pantry.
"Lilli, you should know that our stove is screwed up." I said sleepily. I rubbed my eyes and saw a pair of inquisitive, clear blue eyes looking at mine. They didn't belong to Lilli, who had brown eyes. In fact, I had never seen them before. I rubbed my eyes again, and a full figure was established, blurrily. Damn it, stupid sleep, could not see anything.
Or maybe it was because I hadn't put my glasses on yet.
I reached over the counter and pulled on my thick framed nerd glasses. That's better, I can actually see now.
Standing in front of me was a very tall man. With curly hair, and he was topless. I squeaked and hid behind the counter, making sure he couldn't see through my boxers.
"Y-you're not Lilli!" I said embarrassed. He chuckled.
"No, clearly I'm not." He said laughing. I frowned, and Lilli walked in.
"Lilli! An explanation please?" I said frustrated. Lilli smiled and kissed the man on the lips. I shuddered. Another night filled with fun I'm guessing.
Gross.
"This is my boyfriend, Dean." I raised an eyebrow at this statement.
Lilli never has long-time boyfriends- let alone a short term one.
"Boyfriend?" I asked shocked.
"Yeh, come and sit down with breakfast and we'll explain everything." Lilli said with a smile. I had never ever seen her like this around a guy before.
Ever.
So, I grabbed a piece of toast that was sitting on a plate and lazily sat down on one of our barstools at the kitchen counter.
"So, Lilli, explain." I said grinning. Dean and Lilli sat down.
"Well, Dean and I met at the gym." She said. They looked at each other all lovey dovey. I chuckled.
"Is that all the detail I get?" I asked. They nodded. I shrugged. "OK." I said. I shoved the toast into my mouth and went to change. I pulled on the uniform I was forced to wear at the coffee shop I worked at, some grubby converse and put my hair into a neater ponytail. I didn't bother applying any makeup, purely because I am just so damn lazy. Surfing keeps me fit.
I walked back into the kitchen and saw Dean again. This time he was dressed, and was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt that said Lifeguard across the back. He wore navy shorts and a pair of thongs.
"You're a lifeguard?" I asked. He turned around.
"Yeah." He replied. Dean looked at my uniform. "You work in the coffee shop across from the tower don't you?" He asked me.
"Yes. I'm trying to get onto the Pro Tour, and need a job." I said. My life really wasn't that interesting.
"Really? You must be good." Dean said, sipping the remains of his probably now cold coffee.
"Oh not really." I said blushing a bit. I am good, I just don't like the attention.
"Well, what's your name? Did you grow up around here?" Dean asked.
