Entry 2:
I waited outside the shop in the rain waiting for Lilli to show up. Eventually, once I was absolutely soaked through she turned up.
This girl needs to learn how to show up on time.
Lilli got out of the car and I walked towards her.
“You took your time!” I said shivering through the rain. She smiled.
“Sorry Hun.” She started to walk away from her car and towards the beach and I ran out following her.
“Where are you going?” I yelled. The rain fell hard down on us, exposing my little pink bra through the grey shirt I was forced to wear to work. The red skater skirt I wore clung to my legs and my canvas Vans were soaked through as well.
“I have to pick up Dean.” She said back. I groaned and followed her. She was going to make me come so they could give me a towel so I didn’t wet her seats in her car.
Bitch.
Only kidding.
We approached the tower and Lilli knocked on the door. I’m pretty sure you weren’t allowed to because it’s supposed to be an emergency if you do, but oh well.
A man opened the door and smiled.
“Hey, I’m picking up Dean.” Lilli said smiling.
I must have looked like a soggy piece of poo standing next to Lilli who was pretty much dry.
“Oh yeh, come in.” His eyes flittered over to me, and recognised me. My eyes widened as I saw who it was.
“Anthony?” I asked. It was him, the Anthony from the bus!
“Koti? Are you two friends?” he asked, his eyes flicking from me to Lilli and back to me. I nodded.
“Yeh we are. Lilli is dating Dean.” I said. Lilli looked at me.
“How do you know each other?” She asked curiously, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.
“We met on the bus.” Anthony told her. Lilli grinned.
“That’s Koti for you. Doesn’t like going out, but always makes friends in the weirdest places when she does.” She told Anthony. He chuckled.
“Well come in. I’ll get you a towel Koti, you look um…” He trailed off, not knowing whether he would insult me or not by what he was about to say next. I rolled my eyes.
“Soggy?” I helped him out. Anthony smiled and nodded. We followed him into the tower. Immediately, Lilli was in a deep kiss with Dean, and Anthony beckoned for me to follow him. I tried not to trip over the mess that littered the tower and he handed me a bright blue towel. I wrapped it around myself and tried to dry out my hair.
“You can call me Harries by the way.” He said. I smiled.
“Cool.” I replied. I followed him back to the main part of the tower, and up the stairs. Dean was introducing Lilli to everybody, and of course Lils loved the attention.
I would, there was 6 fricking hot lifeguards staring at her!
Harries sat down, and I stood there awkwardly, until I cleared my throat. Lilli looked back at me and she remembered I had to be introduced too. Dean looked back at me and smiled.
“And this is Lilli’s roommate Koti.” He said, gesturing to me. Suddenly I didn’t like the attention of everybody staring at me. You could see my bra for crying out loud.
Not cool Koti, not cool.
“Uh, hi.” I muttered. They all smiled. A few of their eyes looked me up and down, taking in my uh, embarrassing appearance. Dean continued with his introductions.
