MY THOUGHTS ARE MINE
“You know," Clary said, "most psychologists agree that hostility is really just sublimated sexual attraction.”

*CAMERON*
"Not in the slightest." That one sentence sticks in my head through the entire day. I wasn't able to concentrate on any of my classes, or on football practice today after school.
C'mon Cameron, shake it off, who cares?
Everyone likes me. Natalia Richards-er-Bauman, whatever the hell you prefer, your ass is mine.

In the morning, I head straight to the guidance area of Hill Crest High, determined and on the move. Nothing can stop me now.
"It's not even first period yet Mr. Matthews!" One of the attendees exclaims as I appear at the front desk.
"Oh, no, I'm not here because I'm in trouble, I want to make a course change. Chemistry was cancelled, so I need another class to fill my schedule." I chuckle a little at her remark about my tendencies to be sent to the office.
"Why, of course!" She exclaims loudly. "Pam, get Mr. Matthews an appointment to pick his course please." She calls out to the other lady behind her. "It's good to see you taking an interest in school, I thought for sure you would've taken a spare at this convenience." She grins widely.
"Of course ma'am, oh and there's no need to make that appointment, I've already chosen my course." I reply nonchalantly.
"Oh," She gasps, raising an eyebrow. "What is that?"
Why am I doing this? Who cares, it's just one girl out of the thousands that actually like me.
It's not that. I need to make her understand, she's new here and with all the attention she's getting people could easily see her standing up against me. I have a reputation to keep here, I'm Cameron Matthews, 'bad boy jock, popular sexy and smart, gets what he wants when he wants it.'
I will not have that ruined by some beautiful new girl who has high status in popular parts of this world. Oh no, so for this, Natalia Richards-er-Bauman, gosh I don't even know what she prefers, she won't even know what hit her.
She's about to get a full dose of Cameron Matthews.
"Family Studies, I believe that is third period." I reply, ending my conversation with myself in my head and grinning widely at the older lady.
"Okay, I'll just put you on the list." She grins, showing off her yellowing teeth as she types something into her computer. "There you go." She smiles, hitting a button, instantly sending the document to the printer where it shoots out beside her where she grabs it and hands it to me. "Here's your admission to the class, just hand that to the teacher at the start of the class and everything should work out."
I take the sheet from her and smile. "Thank you." She returns my smile before turning back to her computer as I make my way out of the guidance area and back towards the front doors.
