It felt like it took a lot longer for Andrew to reach the shore than it actually did, but when he scooped her up into his arms and started walking across the sand, she knew she was no longer in harm's way.

"She can't swim!" Andrew cried, though to who, she couldn't be sure. "What? You don't know that?" He laid her down on a blanket.

She started to open her eyes and saw a familiar face looking down at her, but they started to sting so she closed them again

She started to open her eyes and saw a familiar face looking down at her, but they started to sting so she closed them again. Feeling a hand slip under the nape of her neck and arch her chin, she started coughing up the water in her lungs.

"Hey! Bring the med kit over here! I'm a doctor."

She heard a small crowd of voices, a few concerned murmurs and mumbles then the sound of a large box being set down to her left.

"Give me the Ambu bag!"

"Give me the Ambu bag!"

When she couldn't cough up anymore water, she felt mask with a soft, inflatable ring come down over her nose and mouth, a fresh rush of oxygen entering her lungs every few seconds. She squeezed her eyes shut then slowly attempted to open them again. Her vision was a little blurry but she knew it was Andrew above her, pumping the squeeze bag that was attached to the mask. She moaned softly, shutting her eyes again.

"Amy, baby, can you hear me?" He asked.

She gently nodded her head, slowly opening her eyes again, her vision still a little cloudy.

"All right, I gotta listen to her breathing. Can you take over for me, man? Thanks." While she continued to get air from the white uniformed man pumping the mask, Andrew pulled what looked like a black stethoscope from the orange and white box before him.
