Amy stirred at Emma's voice, a soft moan rising in her throat. She opened her eyes, quickly wincing at the sunlight streaming into the room and her face. With a tired groan, she pulled the covers up over her head and shut her eyes, trying to go back to sleep. Andrew exuded his own weary groan from across the room, more than likely because he had to wake up for Emma. Thank god it wasn't her.
Go back to sleep. That's what she'd do. Just pretend like she hadn't heard anything and go right back to--
"Amy?"
She jumped in fright, eyes snapping open at Michael's voice, her monitor beeping rapidly with her frantically beating heart. Rather than say anything, she pretended as if she was still asleep. He wouldn't know she was awake if she kept the covers over her head and didn't make a peep. She heard Emma talking to Andrew, telling him she had come up to check his vitals.

"What time is it?" Andrew asked.

"It's a little after eight," Emma replied.
Eight? In the morning? Shit!
"I figured." He said. "All right, do what you gotta do so I can go back to sleep."
Michael's voice came again, followed by a hand on her shoulder giving her a gentle shake. "Amy? It's time to wake up, honey."
She groaned in debate, holding tightly to the covers over her head.
He tried to grab a hold of them but she held on tighter, preventing him from doing so. "Honey, come on, I know you're awake. Will you please come out from under there?"
She groaned. "Mm-mph!"
