"Brace yourself, Romeo," Emma said. "Your fellow co-workers are going to have a field day the moment you step out of this lift. They've been worried sick about you ever since you came in."
"Not to mention that they saw Emma and I wheeling you out of trauma two, badly beaten and unconscious with a tube down your throat," Michael added.
Amy's heart squeezed with guilt as she exchanged a deep scowl with Andrew. "A part of me is glad that I didn't have to see you that way. No offense." But they were finally back on their feet again and to her, that was all that mattered.
He sighed softly, "none taken. I wouldn't want to see me that way either." Glancing over his shoulder, he gently nodded his head. "Thanks for the head's up guys. I'll take that into consideration."
"Well at least it's not paparazzi." Amy broke into song, her mind flashing back to the birthday lap dance she gave him a couple weeks ago. "I'm your biggest fan, I'll follow you until you love me, papa, paparazzi. Andrew there's no other superstar, you know that I'll be your papa, paparazzi..."
Andrew chuckled softly, flashing her a smile. "And you're all the paparazzi I need."
Emma smirked. "Someone's clearly feeling much better."
"I've been feeling better since two days ago. What are you talking about, Emma?" Amy snickered.
"Yes, she has," Michael said, "but if you remember correctly, she refused to leave until Andrew did."
