When It's All Over***
Shortly after the assassination of President Alma Coin, Commander Paylor of District Eight was elected the first President of the New Republic of Panem, which would prosper in its years under her fairness and leadership.

President Coriolanus Snow apparently died in the uproar immediately after Katniss Everdeen shot President Coin with an arrow right through the heart. Some hold to the theory that he likely died laughing maniacally after Katniss killed Coin, as he choked on his own blood. Though others believe he was trampled, possibly even beaten to death in the ensuing uproar.
It remained unclear however which of these really caused President Snow's death. He was buried in a plain grave, and most people didn't bother to mourn him apart from any remaining relatives who were fortunate enough to be spared a death sentence, though in the end, they were also forever disgraced.
The only decoration to Snow's grave was a short, poetic warning of why the evils of his corrupt regime carried out against the people of the districts must never be repeated at any time in the future. A vast majority of remaining loyalists, spies, and henchmen to Snow, including several former gamemakers, Claudius Templesmith, and Caesar Flickerman were put on trial for their crimes and the majority of them would spend the remainder of their lives in prison.

Plutarch Heavensbee became Panem's Vice-President and has also worked with Beetee Latier on the technology of the nation's new and improved broadcast system. It became possible for the first time in the history of Panem for communication and free speech between all thirteen districts. Upon the occasion of Paylor's end of term, Plutarch was sworn in to become her successor as President of Panem.

Gale Hawthorne went to live in District Two after the war had ended and left behind the coal mining industry and fighting the Capitol for a career in government for the masonry district. He never came in contact with Katniss Everdeen again. It is unclear if he ever met up with anyone else he knew from his work in District Twelve again either. He married and fathered three daughters.
***
Mrs. Everdeen, unable to return to living in District Twelve because of the loss of her husband and youngest daughter Primrose, had relocated to District Four. There she would eventually help build a new hospital for the ill and injured. This time, she was much better equipped to save lives whenever possible.
***
Annie Cresta-Odair went back to living in District Four herself and had given birth to her baby. It was a boy, and she named him Finnick Odair Jr. in memory of his father. She would write letters to Katniss and Peeta in District Twelve and Alyssa in District Nine on occasion, and would tell them how much her son reminded her every day of Finnick, for whom there was a memorial built in the center square of District Four, in the same area where District Four's tributes were once reaped for every Hunger Games.

Johanna Mason returned to living in District Seven, to finally be left in peace as she always believed she had so long deserved. Johanna began working on improving security for her home District. As well as advocating to better the lives of children with abusive parents in District Seven.
Alyssa at one time wrote to Johanna and told her that she could come to live in District Nine, to make a completely fresh start if she preferred. Alyssa even invited Johanna to help in some of her own charitable endeavors. Johanna however, turned both offers down and stayed in the only place she felt she belonged.

Just days after President Coin's assassination and President Snow's death, Katniss Everdeen was sent back to District Twelve, to be confined there until further notice, and Haymitch Abernathy, knowing there would never be any place for him in the Capitol without the Hunger Games, immediately went back with her, to drink and raise geese.
Sadly, Haymitch passed away about seven years after the war due to cirhossis of the liver from his continued heavy drinking. Katniss and Peeta dedicated a full twelve pages to the memory of everything they learned from their old mentor in their own personal scrapbook of memories as part of Dr. Aurelius's ongoing therapy for the couple.
Peeta Mellark returned to District Twelve two weeks after the war ended, and Katniss had decided to stay with Peeta, to spend the rest of their days always looking out for each other, living to find the good things in life, all while growing back together. They eventually had a son and daughter.

As for Alyssa Whitestone, she carried on with life in District Nine and in memory of Noah Linwood, and with the approval of the District Nine Council and Jonas Linwood, a cousin of Noah's who was eventually handed ownership of Linwood Jewelers, a memorial and plaque were commissioned in memory of this famous victor and fallen hero of the revolution. A statue of Amber, the brave younger sister who sacrificed herself so that Noah would have his chance to survive and fight for a better future was crafted and stands near the former residence of Noah Linwood in the same neighborhood once known as the District Nine Victor's Village, later opened for tours to the general public.
Sterling and Melina Linwood had tried everything to not only forbid Alyssa from attending Noah's funeral service, but to also prevent her from claiming a share of his fortune which he had decided to leave to her in case the worst should ever happen to him before they could be married.
Alyssa however, took the matter to the District Nine Justice Center in a case against the Linwoods, and after a gruelling legal battle in which Sterling and Melina offered neither sympathy nor respect, Alyssa had ultimately won the case. She put much of her gains to good use in aid of the less fortunate.
Alyssa also used a tidy sum of her own personal wealth accumulated from her first Hunger Games victory to build a better community home for children left without parents or other known relatives. As the founder, she had it named the Gordon and Teresa Whitestone Community Shelter for Children in Need in memory of her parents.
Cassandra and Mace were married and became two of the hired caregivers at the new community shelter. So much good that would have been forbidden during President Snow's regime of oppression and perhaps even by Coin was finally made a reality, for which Katniss, Peeta, Annie, Beetee, Haymitch, even Plutarch himself wrote to Alyssa to tell her they approved.
Even though Noah was gone and Alyssa herself never married or had any children of her own, she always thought of the children who came to live at the shelter as good as being hers. Because of this, Alyssa eventually found her life to be far less lonely and much more purposeful. There would never be the threat of another Hunger Games again.
As Gordon and Teresa Whitestone might have said were they still alive, everything in Panem was finally going as it should be, and it would continue on this way for a long time still.
