The day of the recital is August 22nd. I'M SO EXCITED!!!! We're dancing to the song September, by Earth, Wind and Fire.
Anyway, I'm in the main room with my team and the other 6 teams. Here I am, busily writing in my journal, not realizing Eric is walking up to me. "Hey." He said. "HOLY CRAB APPLES!! DON'T STARTLE ME LIKE THAT!!!!" I scolded. "Yeah, well I guess you don't really pay attention to your surroundings when you have your nose buried in a book. What do you write in there anyway?" he questioned me. Oh crud. How long had he been standing there?! WHAT IF HE SAW?!?!?!?! I WRITE ABOUT HIM IN MY BOOK!!!!!!!! OHHHH NO!!!!!!
Eric's POV
I walked over to Julie and looked over her shoulder. Her handwriting was so small I couldn't make anything out. Whoops! Am I snooping? "Hey." I said. "HOLY CRAB APPLES!!" I laughed at that. "DON'T STARTLE ME LIKE THAT!!!!" She scolded me likea puppy who had just piddled on the carpet. "I think I know." I teased her. "Uhhh you do?" She asked worriedly. Wow my teasing was working!! She actually thinks I know what she wrote. "Well it could have been a few things:" I mocked her. She said that the other day when we first spoke at this camp.
"It could be a made up story, a diary, or something about someone ." I could tell I'd touched a nerve. She grimaced. I think it's safe to say, I was so close to the truth.
Julie's POV
"But if you don't want to tell me, I'll respect that." he said. I nodded. He was so sweet!!
He winked at me and walked away. I saw Jeb messing with him. Poor guy. Jeb was probably teasing him. He doesn't deserve that!! He doesn't even like me! Why would he??
My friend and I had to make up a solo. I came up with one on the spot!! It was simple, fun, and looked really cool.
