I skipped to Monday because nothing particularly interesting happened on Sunday.
Julie's POV
The same old same old happened in dance class today. Exercise, warm ups, practicing dance steps, a herd of gnomes running through the main room (JK).
And of course, Eric and I stared at each other.
After dance camp was over
"Hey Jul, can I talk to you?" Jeb popped into the room I was in.
I followed him with a confused look on my face.
We sat down on a bench in the library.
"Do you like Eric?" Jeb asked.
I was startled. I contemplated the thought.
"Um, I don't know. Maybe... He's a nice guy." I said.
"Look, I'm a dude, and I'm not really the one to be discussing this with you, but I have to know. Eric is my brother, and I care about both of you." He said it so honestly, I knew he meant it.
He continued, looking straight into my eyes. "I think you like him. Don't deny it. I don't want to give away anything about him, but he sure has talked about you."
I blushed so much I probably looked like a flipping tomato.
He just kept on going. "I'm gonna make sure he treats you right." He put his hand on mine. " Just because he's my bother doesn't mean I'll go easy on him if he hurts you, and if you ever need to talk, I'll be there for you."
"Thank you, Jeb." I said.
He hugged me. He put his hands on my waist and I put my arms around his shoulders.
It didn't feel like Eric's hug. This one was friendly, Eric's was... I can't really describe it. It was kind of like... a 'more than a friend' hug.
I feel better, now that I've admitted to someone out loud and in person that I like Eric.
Hey guys!! How was that? If I update slowly, it's because I'm working on my other 2 books.
Don't forget to vote!
