Today is the day I get to leave this hell hole and go back home where things make more sense; America!! I could hardly wait, I had already packed up all my clothes for the plane ride the day before having trouble containing my excitement and happiness. Okay, I'll admit I'll miss the Sakamaki brothers even if it was just a little bit. Shu might just be the brother I'll miss the most. I mean, he was the nicest to me out of all the others. Reiji was too controlling for my liking, Kanato was just plain weird one minute cool another minute a jerk. Laito was too touchy. Ayato had a big head.   Subaru is just mean. But....they do have nice things about them, most of them at least. Reiji is helpful with my homework when he wasn't yelling at me. Laito is good with the romantic stuff and fashion statements. Kanato makes serious cookies. Shu is pretty thoughtful and listens to me when I need to talk. Ayato helps with P.E teaching me ways to get more fit. And Subaru...just sucks. I just can't stand him.

"Tikiyah! Are you ready to go?" My mother's voice rang from downstairs which killed my mood. I forgot I still had to deal with Reiji and his persuasive self. He won't get my mom on his side, though, persuasive or not. Our home is in America and that's that.

"Ready as I'll ever be!" I responded as I made my way down the stairs.

We met Reiji at a small diner near a park and found him waiting in the picnic area. He dressed casual but formal which was weird for me being so use to seeing him in his school uniform. He stood tall in a plaid button-down shirt with a black jacket on his arms and blue faded jeans covering his lower have complete with matching black sneakers.

"Good morning, Mrs. Marino, Tikiyah-san." Reiji greeted us respectfully with a bow.

"As to you, Reiji-san." My mom replied back with a bow.

Reiji looked to me expectantly as I didn't bow to him right away. I still didn't understand why this meeting with my mom needed to be done. Giving in, I sigh and bow stiffly. "Good morning to you, too Reiji-san." I muttered earning a mere nod of acknowledgement from him.

"Care to sit, Mrs, Marino?" Reiji asked my mom playing the role of a gentleman as he pulled the chair out for my mom. If only he really was a gentleman. "I've ordered us some ice tea while we have this meeting as well."

"Oh, why thank you! You're too kind." My mother exclaimed, eating this act up.

I rolled my eyes. Well played, Glasses, well played. I thought even though I knew he wouldn't be able to persuade my mom into staying here either way. She was a brick wall and even Reiji's sweet talk wouldn't be able to penetrate her. I was about to sit down as well but I caught sight of two very familiar faces walking into the diner. I facepalm and groaned. "Noo, not Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum!"

"Is something the matter, Tikiyah-san?" Reiji questioned with a knowing and mocking gleam in his eyes.

"Yes, Reiji, there is. I thought you'd be coming alone." I sent a glare at him but he merely smirked at me.

"I did come alone. They came on their own in another vehicle." Reiji stated matter-of-factly.

"These boys seem to really care about you, Tiki. It wouldn't hurt to spend some time with them." My mother spoke up. "I mean, the redhead wouldn't leave your side after the incident the other day and I heard the purple-haired one went back to avenge you."

"Please, mom, don't stand up for those two." I mumbled. "They may seem nice but in reality they are annoying. The most annoying people you'll ever meet to be exact." And how convenient that said boys were approaching in earshot as I said this.

"You think I'm annoying, Kokoa-chan?" Laito asked with mocking sadness and then carrying it on further. "What does this all mean? I thought we were friends but I guess not...was I just being used? Was I just someone to help you get through the day? Is that all I am to you? A pawn in your cruel game of chess? Oh, I feel so hurt!" He pretended to almost faint.
