Third Person POV:
"Well, well, well, what did I just stumble upon~"
Kanato hissed and pulled away from Tikiyah to face his cockblocker. He clenched and unclenched his fists wanting to attack him right then in there but for Tikiyah's sake he held back. "Laito...we're in the middle of something." His voice dripped venom.
"Oh? And am I interrupting?" The redhead brother questioned in a knowing, innocent tone as he paced closer. "I couldn't help but overhear yelling and listen in and then my date to the Host Club dance came! When I decided to reveal my presence, I didn't expect to see such a heart warming scene between the two of you."
"Kanato looked like he needed some comfort--" Tikiyah began.
"Hush now Kokoa-chan, the men are talking." Laito cuts her off with the flick of the wrist. "How sickening it was to see such a scene," He went on. "I felt cheated on by you Kanato, you going in to be mushy with my girlfriend--"
"I am not your girlfriend! I'm not even sure I'm you're date to the dance--"
Laito's green piercing eyes blazed with anger, advancing toward the girl. She talks out of line and she denies what was told to her! "You are! I ordered you to! You are my girlfriend!"
"Don't touch her!" Kanato snapped stepping between the two. "She doesn't have to take orders from you."
"She's just as much my maid as yours, Kanato!" Hate was bleeding through Laito's words standing off against his brother.
Kanato sensed it and was provoked to attack. So he did, tackling his brother to the ground and messing up his pretty face. Oh, how long he's been wanting to do that. The two rolled on the ground tusseling with each other in fits of strangled groans.
Tikiyah watched in shock. She knew that this wasn't just a brotherly play fight. These Sakamaki were really aiming to hurt each other and over what? "This is insane!"
"Indeed it is." An authoritative voice into the conversation. Tikiyah looked to see Reiji approaching the scene, his gaze chillingly calm and collected. "Both of you stop this nonsense this instant!" He ordered.
Kanato had his brother at the throat but it was Laito who was the first to pull away, scrambling to his feet, panting. Even though Kanato was the smaller one, Laito was the one who looked more bedraggled, Tikiyah noticed. The redhead bore scratches and bruises, his clothes ripped showing his aching skin under. Laito wipped his busted lips that drew blood and glared at the older Sakamaki but the intensity was no where near as bad as Kanato's. Hate was seen in Kanato's eyes and a hint of satisfaction. Tikiyah, a mere humam couldn't see this but Laito was shaking and a bit of fear mingled in his glare, Kanato saw it.
"Since it seems like everyone wants to have the maid as their date to the dance, she'll be all of our dates for the dance." Reiji says taking care of the problem.
"What?!" Tikiyah protested. "I don't want to dance with all of you let alone really want to go to the dance!"
"You have to go." Laito said firmly, his green gaze hard on her. He blamed this fight on her.
"And you will go." Reiji added.
"....That's an order." Kanato grumbled. He didn't like the idea of sharing Tikiyah that upcoming magical night with his brothers nor did he want to agree with them but...they were right. Tikiyah had to go to the dance.
Tikiyah frowned. "Ya'll ganging up on me now?"
Reiji's lips curled up into a half smile as he let's his fuchsia pink eyes travel over the scene. "I suppose we are. It does look like that, doesn't it?"
"Man, this is messed up." Tikiyah mumbled as she headed back inside.
Reiji chuckled and walked in step with her. "I was certain that you had gotten use to that by now." He said in a low voice.
Kanato narrowed his eyes at the two. They seemed rather close, why hadn't he noticed that before? Well, never mind that, he just didn't like it and he needed to keep their relationship in check.
"Ugh, how disgusting!" Laito muttered. He watched them too. "Reiji and my Kokoa-chan?! They have nothing in common."
"And you do?" Kanato countered.
"We both have pretty faces!" Laito replied, matter of fact as he followed the other two.
Kanato rolled his eyes. "Her's is prettier than your's will ever be. And besides, that's nothing compared to what we have in common."
"Which are?"
"We both love sweets. We're both short. Artistic...Cute...Witty....Caring..." Kanato sighs as he thought of her but then his annoyingly persistent brothers entered the picture. His tone turned rich with possessive-ness and anger, hate even. "We were meant to be together! We'd be the perfect couple! Why can't anyone see it! We were so close to kissing! (boy, you thought! XD)"
"It was obviously for the best--" Laito was cut off by the sudden shove into the wall by the shorter Sakamaki. Hate were flaming in his eyes as he gazed up at the redhead.
"You don't know what's best!" Kanato snapped, a tight grip on Laito's neck. He may have been short but he knew exactly how to get to his neck. "Tikiyah will be mine one day and I'll make sure of it!" He hissed.
Laito held his brother's gaze carefully. He knew Kanato was crazy but not this crazy, coming after his own brother. "You don't scare me." He told him firmly. That was a lie, he was just a tad bit scared of the potential Kanato held. "You can't kill me just by strangling me."
"Ha! As painful as that might be, I wouldn't end you like that. I'll have you in flames in ten seconds flat if you step out of line with her. After I slit your throat of course with that special knife."
Laito's gaze turned to slits. "You're bluffing. You don't even have that knife and we're all blood brothers. Not even half!"
"Try me. We'll see where that will get you." Kanato said departing from him and disappearing from his sight.
Laito stared at the space where Kanato had stood. It was that moment when he realized that...Kanato was lost and everyone around him was at risk.
