I was still trying to wrap my head around what Kanato said about the situation I'm in with him and his brothers as I got ready to take a quick...bath since they seemed to not have a shower in this bathroom. It shouldn't be hard for me to believe that I'm in danger here seeing that Ayato was sucking the shit from Yui's neck and could have died if Reiji and I didn't come to check on them, but...it is hard. I've been told all my life that life wasn't just some easy, happy, fairy tail wonderland, a walk through the park. I was well aware of the dangers and sicknesses that were out there that could even potentially result to death that I could just happen to catch, but I always stayed completely positive and knocked the possibility of those chances off and it's kind happening with me right now. I just don't feel that anything bad will happen to me here but at the same time...I knew Kanato is right. It's like this numbing feeling, I just don't feel the need to be scared or weary but I know I should be suspicious anyways because of what I been through already but...*sigh* I don't know if this is making sense anymore...I'll just stop right there.
I took the time to find everything before taking a bath. They even had soaps that I preferred to use settled out for me which I found crazy but I just went along with it. I'll get one of these brothers to confess how they know the things I never mentioned sooner or later.
I was about to turn the water on to the tub after deciding on the soap scent I wanted but go to the bathtub to see the water already filled with a flipping body already in it! And you know who's body that was? Surprisingly not Laito but Shu! I yelped in surprise and dropped the soap into the tub on Shu who was in the tub with water in it, with clothes still on, apparently asleep or listening to music. "What the heck?! Shu, what the hell are you doing in here?!"
"You're in my house, now. I go where ever I please." Shu murmured without even a glance at me or a reaction to the bar of soap on his stomach as he relaxed in the hot water.
"Ever heard of privacy, though?" I grumbled.
"Privacy doesn't apply to me in my house." He responded simply before finally giving me some eye contact through half- closed eyes as he picked up the fallen bar of soap. "When do you plan on singing to me? We have our own music room."
"Uh..." I got distracted by the blond's pretty blue eyes. "I-I mean, I just got here...can't a girl take a bath in peace before being asked to do things--ahh!" I shrilled, attempting to take the bar of soap from him while Shu yanked it back, pulling me into the tub and splashing in on top of him. "Shu!?"
"I actually told you to do this before you got here. Before your mother even made her decision," Shu went on as if this didn't even happen, sitting me up between his legs. "You owe me."
I blushed as he gently brushed my drench hair out my face. "I-I know...W-we'll get to it sooner or later..." I mumbled avoiding his eyes. "Can't I get a nice bath first?"
"Go ahead then." Shu says but didn't move to get up, watching me.
"Uh...yeah, if you want this to be an old Japanese tradition where the family all takes baths together, I'm gonna tell you now that this isn't going to happen." I told him, regaining my confidence. "We ain't family and evenif we were I'd never share a bathtub with you."
"But you are now." Shu smirked.
"Well, yeah but....." I tried to come back with a snarky remark but found that I was at a loss of words and crossed my arms, averted my eyes, and puffed my cheeks out in frustration. "Nevermind...this...this was just an accident and you won't leave!"
Shu chuckled at me but I notice his eyes seemed to darken as he said, "not until I quench my thirst. I'm quite thirsty, Tikiyah." His pretty ocean blue eyes looked hungry for a change and not tired and bored and frankly it scared me.
