Foxy and Mangle smiled as the curtain opened. "Yar har me maties!" Foxy said, loud and clear to the crowd of cheering kids. "It be me! Foxy the pirate fox! We be havin a new crew member, lads and lassies!" He turned to Mangle. "This be me new friend, Mangle the pirate fox!"
Mangle stepped forward. "Yar har maties! It be so nice to meet ye all today! Like the captain be sayin, me name be Mangle!"
All the kids cheered. "Woo hoo!" Screamed one.
"Go Mangle!!!"
"She is so pretty!" Said another.
"You two should marry!" Someone said. Foxy and Mangle both slightly blushed at this.
"Well, we be gettin a bit hungry lads and lassies, so how about we get some pizza!!!" Mangle said.
Chica stepped out of the kitchen with stacks of freshly cooked pizza boxes in her hands. "Let's eat!!!"
The kids crowded around her, happily grabbing slices of pizza. The pirate cove curtains closed, and Foxy and Mangle sat down. "And that was only a short performance." Foxy said. "In others, we have to sing and dance, and the kids go wild." Foxy sighed and closed his eyes. He leaned his head against the wall. Don't forget... the voice in Foxy's head said menacingly. All these cheerful and happy times will be GONE soon. They will all die, and it will be all your fault!!! Foxy clenched his teeth and put his hands over his face. His mind was swept into a torrent of visions containing him murdering his only friends in the world. "Foxy?" Called a sweet, but concerned voice. "Foxy, are you okay?" Foxy uncovered his face to see hat he had fallen off his stool and was curled up on the ground. Mangle crouched down next to him, a worried look on her face.
"I'm fine." He said, using the stool to help him stand up. "Just a headache."
Mangle looked at him, doubt clearly shown on her beautiful face. "A really, really bad headache." She said, with extra emphasis on 'really'.
Foxy nodded and closed his eyes. "This happens to me a lot. Just ignore it if it happens again." He lied. Same lie I used on the other. He thought. Now they all believe the same thing. He caught a glimpse of Mangle's concerned face. Maybe they all believe it. But secrets cannot be kept forever...
