Foxy walked through the dark room, his metal feet echoing as he walked. He thought about the conversation he had with the others before he left. What was Goldie going to say? Why did Sabrina stop him?

You know the answer, Nightmare said.

Foxy stopped and looked confused. I do? He thought back to the conversation. It was when I said that Nightmare won't let me die... wait...That must be why they said it's too dangerous! They don't mean for me, but for everyone else... If Foxy still had a heart, it would have dropped.

Deep down, they don't trust that you will keep me at bay. They think you'll snap. Nightmare seemed to smirk.

Foxy growled. "Shut up Nightmare!" He yelled, his voice echoing through the warehouse. He clenched his jaw and held his head in his hands. "I WILL keep you at bay, you monster!" Nightmare went silent as Foxy yelled. After an uncomfortable pause, he whispered, Watch out Foxy.

Foxy looked back up and saw a pair of glowing green eyes a bit further away. "Baby?" He wondered aloud.

There were footsteps and Baby stepped out of the shadows, a mixture of blood and animatronic oil covering her metallic body. "F-Foxy, you have to help me!" She glanced around, then when she opened her mouth to say more something reached out of the shadows and grabbed her by the waist, pulling her back.

"Baby!" Foxy yelled, running after her. "Hang on, I'm coming!" Maybe I was wrong about her....About all of them! He thought. He stumbled, then focused more on his running. Think later, save her now.

Foxy spotted something flash out of the corner of his eye, then was immediately bashed in the head with something heavy. He collapsed to the ground and groaned, holding his head with his hand.

"Wow," Said Baby's voice from the shadows. "You animatronics are all the same. Clueless, useless, and unable to tell when someone is lying or acting."

Foxy stood up and leaned on a box. He growled. "I shouldn't have ever trusted you, even the slightest bit! Where is Freddy?!"

Another broken looking animatronic stepped out of the shadows next to Baby. He had a small dent in his head, and looked extremely pissed off. "Can we just kill him and get it over with? We're wasting a lot of precious time. You know what happened last time."

"Shut up, Ennard!" Baby shoved the other animatronic. "You're not the boss here. I am!" She turned to Foxy, who had stood up completely and was growling slightly, his fangs bared. "Fine, since you want to fight so badly, you take care of him. I'll go do everything else. Meet up with me once you finish. You know the drill." Baby turned around and vanished almost immediately into the shadows of the dark room.

Foxy turned back to Ennard and was immediately hit with something sharp. He fell back and cried out, hitting the ground hard. He looked back up to see Ennard standing above him, holding an axe. Foxy stood back up and lunged at Ennard. Ennard easily dodged and struck him again, this time along the jaw. Foxy heard a crack and felt his jaw come loose, hanging wide open.

Nightmare! Where are you??? Foxy yelled in his head as his vision spun. He stood up, then fell back down.

You said you wanted me to go. Let's see how long you last without my help. Nightmare said almost bitterly.

Foxy lay on the ground, stunned. His metal joints ached and he heard the steady drip of what seemed like either blood or oil on the hard ground. Foxy gritted his teeth, then stood again, leaning on boxes. Ennard gave him a somewhat amused look, then bashed him upside the jaw. He punched him in the stomach. then kicked him aside.

As Foxy lay still, Ennard slowly crept over and knelt beside him, grinning smugly. "And to think I actually saw you as a challenge," He gloated. "You're nothing more than a weak, pitiful bastard who thinks he is so tough whole he is a sniveling coward! Face it kid, you'll never win." He smacked Foxy's head again, lighter this time, then left the area, disappearing into the dark room.

Foxy's foot twitched, then he sat up slightly. He rubbed his head with his hand and grimaced. Maybe I am just a weakling... he thought, staring down at the ground. The only way I can defend anybody is by becoming a monster... Foxy looked around the room. "I should just leave," He said aloud to himself. "I'm doing nobody any good by staying here. Maybe Mangle would be better off if she woke up in a world without me in it."

Foxy stood up shakily then limped in the opposite direction that Ennard and Baby went in. He looked around, then found a door. He rested his hand on the doorknob, thinking to himself. If this leads to the outside world, I should just go. If not, I'll find some other way.

You'd just abandon your friends like this? Nightmare asked in Foxy's head. You have an opportunity to warn them, but you're just going to leave?

If I go to help them, I'll just screw it up again. I can't be any use to them if I get beaten up without your help.

Nightmare stayed silent as Foxy turned the doorknob and opened the door. The door opened, squealing like rusted joints on a robot. Foxy's eyes widened when he saw where the door led.

More like who the door led to

"...Freddy?"
